This is a proactive role encompassing the conception and implementation of new marketing strategies to generate new business and support the existing sales channels.
The role concentrates on CTS advanced services mainly Airnet and is focused on providing support pre and during the sales process for identifying new potential opportunities and strategies; along with ensuring our offer meets the best practice standards.To succeed, you will needKey responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Audit compressed air systems and present results. Create lead based on potential findings.
  • Undertake commercial and technical proposals in C4C, convert lead to opportunity as required for Airnet, including the calculation of prices and profit, keeping in mind divisional KPI.
  • Coordinate with Gecia for Airnet drawings/BOQ/Airscan reports.
  • Sizing calculations for compressed air and vacuum project piping.
  • Create bill of material.
  • Prepare schematic drawings with complete information.
  • Equipment layout and interconnecting piping.
  • Prepare 3D drawings using AIRnet planner.
  • Prepare 2D & 3D Layout in Auto CAD software or Plant 3D software.
  • Provide the output in a standard template.
  • Prepare isometric drawing.
  • Prepare co-ordination & as built drawing.
  • Able to read & understand P&ID
  • Work closely with the Equipment Sales Team, Distributor and the CTS Sales & Operations.
  • Develop and implement CTS fulfilment strategies to enhance the support of Atlas Copco Advanced Services to the CTS division.
  • Building of relationships between suppliers/installers and Atlas Copco, maximizing the usage of in-house resources where possible.
  • Ensure the offer fully delivers excellent customer service and exceeds expectations.
  • Plan the delivery and implementation to meet up with service expectations and communicate with the relevant people in CT.
  • Plan and priorities personal activities and with a view to achieving agreed business aims.
  • Develop and maintain good internal and external customer relationships at all levels.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to enhance the company image, product knowledge and increase sales.
  • Use customer and prospect contact activities, tools and systems, and update relevant information in C4C.
  • Analyze and report on product performance on a regular basis, keep track of competition activity/development.
  • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Identify/develop new markets and/or application opportunities for the product range under your responsibility.
  • Interact regularly with the divisional marketing team to ensure that the sales channels always have the latest product information.
  • Provide product training to the sales team and distributor network, as required.
  • Undertake ad-hoc project work as required.
  • Supervise Airnet projects and update all stake holders on progress of projects.
  • Additional duties as required with in SAA and Kuwait territory.
  • He/she shall be single point responsible person to drive the project smoothly and ensure deliverables are provided on time and correct.

Experience requirements

  • B.E. in Mechanical/Production Engineering with 2 to 3 years of experience related to piping system and compressor room layout.
  • Autocad knowledge is plus. Projects experience is plus.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to learn and develop quickly.
  • Strong hands on piping in field.
  • Excellent presentation skills for providing sales team training and customer presentation at all levels.
