Job Title IT Cost Administrator, 1<\/span>Job Description<\/b><\/span>Reporting to the IT Procurement & Reporting Team Lead and as a key member of the IT Cost management department, the IT Procurement & Reporting Specialist, will provide critical support to Dotdash Meredith staff, ensuring efficient and cost-effective IT procurement, assets management, telecom expense management, and fixed asset maintenance. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individuals with a strong focus on customer service and a passion for optimizing IT spending and maximizing the lifecycle of IT assets.<\/span>Primary responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>\u25cf IT Procurement Support: Manage the IT Procurement ticketing queue, providing timely and effective support to staff while adhering to established SLAs.<\/span>\u25cf Software License Management: Manage and audit purchased software licenses, ensuring compliance and optimizing utilization.<\/span>\u25cf Telecom Expense Management (TEM):<\/span>\u25cb Manage and audit telecom programs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.<\/span>\u25cb Track all telecom assets and services (inventory management).<\/span>\u25cb Ensure accurate billing and identify errors (invoice processing and auditing). \u25cb Analyze telecom usage patterns to identify areas for optimization (usage monitoring).<\/span>\u25cb Distribute telecom costs to the appropriate departments or cost centers (cost allocation).<\/span>\u25cb Provide insights into telecom spending and trends (reporting and analysis).<\/span>\u25cf Fixed Asset Management (IT):<\/span>\u25cb Using the Oomnitza asset management system, maintain and track IT fixed assets throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal.<\/span>\u25cb Ensure accurate recording of fixed asset information in the Oomnitza Asset Management system.<\/span>\u25cb Coordinate with the IT Service Desk to conduct regular audits of IT fixed assets to verify their existence and condition.<\/span>\u25cb Ensure that the disposal of retired IT fixed assets complies with company policies and regulations.<\/span>\u25cf Documentation: Create, manage, and maintain internal procurement and fixed asset documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for the team.<\/span>\u25cf Purchase Order Processing: Create and process purchase orders for IT acquisitions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procurement policies.<\/span>\u25cf Financial Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on IT spending, reconcile actual spending against forecasted spending, and provide insights into cost trends, including fixed asset depreciation.<\/span>\u25cf Vendor Onboarding: Onboard IT vendors into our accounts payable system, ensuring seamless integration and compliance.<\/span>\u25cf Project Support: Assist with ad-hoc and team projects as needed.<\/span>Required Skills Mandatory Skills:<\/span>\u25cf Proven experience in IT procurement, asset management, fixed asset management, or a related field, including experience with Telecom Expense Management.<\/span>\u25cf Experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus.<\/span>\u25cf Experience with asset management software (experience with Oomnitza is a plus).<\/span>\u25cf Strong understanding of software licensing models and best practices.<\/span>\u25cf Familiarity with telecom programs and cost optimization strategies is a plus. \u25cf Working knowledge of fixed asset accounting principles and practices, including depreciation methods.<\/span>\u25cf Excellent customer service and communication skills.<\/span>\u25cf Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.<\/span>\u25cf Proficiency in Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets.<\/span>\u25cf Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<\/span>\u25cf Highly organized and detail oriented.<\/span>Designation: IT Cost Administrator, 1<\/span>Working Hours: 6:30PM to 3:30AM<\/span>Work Location: Ecoworld, Bengaluru<\/span>It is the policy of Dotdash Meredith to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and\/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
