Job Description:<\/b><\/span>About the Role:<\/b><\/span>Grade Level (for internal use): 10<\/span>The Team:<\/b><\/span>You will be an expert contributor and part of the S&P Global Rating Core Services Engineering Team. The team has diverse experience in technology stacks. From a foundation of disciplined processes, QA seeks out innovative testing solutions, reliable & transparent test execution, and aspires towards continuous improvement in achieving top quality.<\/span>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 This role will involve understanding the technical design, development and implementation of scripts to support Performance Engineering standards and build improvement solutions aiming for performance optimization.<\/span>\u00b7 Ensures adherence to quality standards during the performance testing of applications, identifies areas of strengths and weakness.<\/span>\u00b7 Ensures on-time delivery of work including monitoring of external and internal dependencies, all activities are accurately recorded and reported.<\/span>\u00b7 Ensure optimally performing production applications by establishing application and transaction SLAs for performance, implementing proactive application monitoring, alarming and reporting, and ensuring adherence to and measurement against defined SLAs.<\/span>\u00b7 Analyzes, designs and develops performance specifications and scripts based on workflows.<\/span>\u00b7 Demonstrate outstanding flexibility and leadership with communication of performance test result interpretation and explanation to both IT and Business Users.<\/span>\u00b7 Understand systems environments like shared resources, components and services, CPU, memory, storage, network, etc.<\/span>\u00b7 Create Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CI\/CD) infrastructure and processes to run QA performance scripts.<\/span>\u00b7 Understand DevOps requirements to support performance engineering Strategy against enterprise-wide application & bring them to CI\/CD platform.<\/span>\u00b7 Participate in Daily Stand-up Calls, works closely with the stakeholders to know the deliverables and commitments of each release.<\/span>\u00b7 Actively taking part in resolving critical infrastructure issues and coming up with solutions to mitigate the same.<\/span>What We’re Looking For:<\/b><\/span>Basic Qualifications<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 6+ years of strong hands-on scripting experience in performance testing & engineering.<\/span>\u00b7 Solid experience in assessing the performance, scalability, and resiliency of large-scale web applications, Desktop based applications, APIs, and backend services<\/span>\u00b7 Handson with LoadRunner suite for performance test script development<\/span>\u00b7 Experience in implementing performance tests in a multi-tiered and microservice architecture<\/span>\u00b7 SME in LoadRunner Cloud \/ LoadRunner Enterprise platforms<\/span>\u00b7 Understanding of and experience with various types of performance testing (Load, Stress, etc.).<\/span>\u00b7 Experience in APM toolsets (Splunk SoC, Grafana & Aternity)<\/span>\u00b7 Ability to create application performance test plan based on project requirements.<\/span>\u00b7 Ability to interpret results of performance tests and identify improvements.<\/span>\u00b7 Experience in defining Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) & strategy to achieve NFR<\/span>\u00b7 Should be a self-motivated, result-oriented and excellent team player.<\/span>\u00b7 Should be able to work under a competitive time frame and deliver.<\/span>\u00b7 Should be a very fast learner and have the excellent problem-solving ability.<\/span>Minimum and Preferred Education<\/span>Bachelor’s or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent is preferred.<\/span>Grade\/Level: 10<\/span>Job Location: Hyderabad<\/span>Shift Time: 12 pm to 9 pm IST<\/span>Hybrid model: twice a week work from office.<\/span>About S&P Global Ratings
