Position Type : Full time<\/span>Type Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education)<\/span>About the Team<\/b><\/span>This role provides an opportunity to be part of an experienced Mobile Engineering team building enterprise-grade Hybrid Mobile Applications. Our mobile apps are developed using the Capacitor framework with Ionic and Web technologies, leveraging Cordova plugins for native capabilities. The team follows modern CI\/CD practices with strong focus on automation, quality, and scalability.<\/span>What You Will Be Doing<\/b><\/span>– Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale hybrid mobile applications using Ionic and Capacitor frameworks.<\/span>– Drive and influence architectural decisions for WebView-based hybrid mobile applications.<\/span>– Develop high-quality, reusable UI components using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.<\/span>– Integrate, maintain, and optimize Cordova plugins for native device functionality.<\/span>– Work closely with native Android and iOS layers to bridge web and native functionality.<\/span>– Implement and maintain CI\/CD pipelines using Bitrise for automated builds, testing, and releases.<\/span>– Define and drive mobile automation strategy including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.<\/span>– Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional, performance, and stability issues.<\/span>– Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and ensure best practices across the mobile codebase.<\/span>– Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the team.<\/span>– Collaborate with product, design, backend, and platform teams in an Agile environment.<\/span>What You Bring<\/b><\/span>– 9 to 13 years of experience in mobile application development with strong focus on hybrid apps.<\/span>– Extensive hands-on experience with Ionic and Capacitor frameworks.<\/span>– Strong command of TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.<\/span>– Deep understanding of hybrid mobile architecture and WebView-based applications.<\/span>– Solid knowledge of native mobile development concepts (Android and\/or iOS).<\/span>– Proven experience working with Cordova plugins and native integrations.<\/span>– Experience setting up and maintaining Bitrise CI\/CD pipelines for mobile applications.<\/span>– Strong experience in mobile automation frameworks and testing strategies.<\/span>– Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.<\/span>– Proficiency in Git and modern development workflows.<\/span>Good to Have Skills<\/span>– Experience with Angular, React and its integration with Ionic applications.<\/span>– Knowledge of mobile security best practices and performance optimization.<\/span>– Experience with Play Store and App Store release processes.<\/span>– Experience with Monitoring tool like New Relic<\/span>– Familiarity with monitoring, crash analytics, and logging tools.<\/span>– Strong understanding of Agile \/ Scrum methodologies.<\/span>Qualifications<\/b><\/span>– Bachelor\u2019s degree (BE\/BTech) in Computer Science, IT, or related field OR equivalent experience.<\/span>– 9+ years of relevant hands-on experience in mobile or hybrid application development.<\/span>Competencies<\/b><\/span>– Strong technical leadership and ownership mindset.<\/span>– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.<\/span>– Effective communication and collaboration across teams.<\/span>– Ability to mentor and guide engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.<\/span>What We Offer<\/b><\/span>– Opportunity to lead and shape enterprise mobile architecture and automation strategy.<\/span>– Exposure to advanced hybrid-mobile and native integration patterns.<\/span>– Strong focus on engineering excellence, automation, and CI\/CD maturity.<\/span>– Career growth, learning opportunities, and collaborative team culture.<\/span>Privacy Statement<\/span>FIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
