The role focuses on incident resolution, service requests, monitoring, and operational maintenance, acting as an escalation point from L1 and ensuring platform stability, security, and performance as per agreed SLAs.<\/span>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>Azure Operations & Support<\/span>Handle L2 escalations for Azure infrastructure and platform services.<\/span>Support Azure IaaS and PaaS services including:<\/span>Virtual Machines (Windows\/Linux)<\/span>Azure Storage (Blob, File, Disk)<\/span>Virtual Networks, Subnets, NSGs<\/span>Load Balancers and Application Gateways<\/span>Perform VM provisioning, resizing, patching, and decommissioning.<\/span>Troubleshoot performance, availability, connectivity, and access issues.<\/span>Incident, Problem & Change Support<\/span>Investigate and resolve Azure incidents within SLA timelines.<\/span>Support root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or major incidents.<\/span>Execute approved changes (configuration updates, scaling, maintenance).<\/span>Support planned maintenance and patching activities.<\/span>Monitoring, Backup & Security<\/span>Monitor Azure resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, alerts.<\/span>Manage and validate Azure Backup and Recovery operations.<\/span>Support identity and access management using Azure AD (RBAC, service principals).<\/span>Assist with security and compliance controls as defined by policies.<\/span>Documentation & Reporting<\/span>Update runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles.<\/span>Provide operational reports and service health updates.<\/span>Coordinate with L3 teams and vendors for complex issues.<\/span>Skill Requirements<\/b><\/span>Required Skills & Experience<\/b><\/span>Technical Skills<\/b><\/span>Strong handson experience with Microsoft Azure administration.<\/span>Working knowledge of:<\/span>Azure VM, VNet, NSG, Storage<\/span>Azure AD & RBAC<\/span>Backup & Restore<\/span>Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow or equivalent).<\/span>Process & Soft Skills<\/span>ITIL knowledge (Incident, Change, Problem Management).<\/span>Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.<\/span>Ability to work in shiftbased \/ remote support environments.<\/span>Shape<\/span>Experience & Qualifications<\/b><\/span>3-6 years of Azure infrastructure support experience.<\/span>Azure Administrator certification (AZ104) – preferred.<\/span>Other Requirements<\/b><\/span>Other Requirement : SL 61 and 62; Server Management L1<\/span>Information at a Glance<\/span>Why HCLTech?<\/span>At HCLTech, you’ll supercharge your potential.
