Overview<\/b><\/span>One Identity is seeking a talented and motivated Software Development Staff Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, a strong understanding of object-oriented principles, and the ability to write clean, efficient, and testable code.<\/span>Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>-Responsible for developing and maintaining OneLogin identity and access management (IAM) applications and SaaS operations.<\/span>-Participate in development, design critiques, code reviews, testing, and assist with cross-team efforts like platform upgrades, architecture improvements, and security initiatives<\/span>-Involvement in all stages of the feature development lifecycle, including requirements engineering, implementation, and documentation<\/span>-Work with the product and engineering stakeholders to prioritize and manage work and see tasks through to completion.<\/span>-Partner with the Security and Quality Engineering teams to ensure application and data security, compliance, and reliability.<\/span>-Collaborate with the platform operations teams on service architecture utilizing cloud native platform technologies.<\/span>-Close cooperation with a globally distributed team of developers, testers, architects, escalation engineers, and platform engineers, which may necessitate occasional flexibility to accommodate overlap time<\/span>Qualifications<\/b><\/span>-Ability to learn quickly and think creatively to solve complex technical issues<\/span>-Structured and logical approach to software development<\/span>-Good communication skills with a pragmatic and positive attitude<\/span>-Strong collaboration skills and experience working as a member of an agile scrum team<\/span>-Working experience (4+ years) in an enterprise software development field<\/span>-Hands-on experience programming in one or more object-oriented languages<\/span>-Experience developing applications with Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, React<\/span>-Experience writing unit tests and using testing frameworks. Working knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL.<\/span>-Deep understanding of authentication protocols such as LDAP, SAML, OpenID, OAuth, and SCIM<\/span>-Experience developing user interfaces using modern web technologies that adhere to UX principles, including usability and accessibility<\/span>-Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and ability to design and implement new endpoints.<\/span>-Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira and\/or Azure DevOps<\/span>-Ability to utilize a version control system (Git) to manage source code<\/span>-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.<\/span>-Bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, and\/or 4+ years of equivalent experience required, should be able to work in a hybrid mode at the Bengaluru office<\/span>Nice-to-have<\/b><\/span>-Experience developing applications on C#\/.NET<\/span>-Knowledge of security concepts for web and client apps and experience with threat modeling, security testing, and remediation.<\/span>-Understanding of microservice architecture and knowledge of the development and deployment of cloud services and associated technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker)<\/span>-Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Sumo Logic, and\/or Airbrake.<\/span>-Familiar with CI\/CD pipeline tooling such as GitHub Actions, RunDeck, and TeamCity<\/span>-Ability to develop a variety of installed software, such as browser extensions, mobile applications, MacOS applications, and\/or Windows applications<\/span>-Experience with high-volume applications and improving performance and scalability<\/span>Company Description<\/b><\/span>One Identity enables organizations of all sizes to better secure, manage, monitor, protect, and analyze information and infrastructure to help fuel innovation and drive their businesses forward.
