Job Description:<\/b><\/span>About the Role:<\/b><\/span>Grade Level (for internal use): 10<\/span>S&P Global Commodity Insights is looking for<\/span>experienced Senior Full Stack Dotnet\/React Software Developer to join our team, full-time. An ideal candidate will be a key player in the growth and development of this brand new platform. They will a play a role in the planning, development and deployment of the product following the full SDLC. They should be comfortable handling new challenges involving emerging technologies. The candidate must follow best practices for software development and has experience building reusable and maintainable application code for future projects.<\/span>Development experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is nice to have.<\/span>Required Skills & Experience<\/b><\/span>Demonstrated ability to participate in a global software engineering team while working closely with product management, quality assurance and business analysts.<\/span>At least 5 to 8 years of hands on experience developing with C#, ASP.NET Core, LINQ, Entity Framework, Restful Services, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud.<\/span>Strong command in React.JS, HTML 5, requireJS, Lodash, Typescript, CSS, JQuery, TSQL (SQL Server) and query optimization techniques<\/span>Knowledge of object-oriented design, Cross-browser Compatibility, Responsive UI<\/span>Experience working with SQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, Oracle or equivalent<\/span>Experience working with Docker<\/span>Awareness about CI\/CD, Jenkins is a plus<\/span>Proven experience working with an Agile framework mindset<\/span>Desire to work with a highly collaborative team located onshore and offshore<\/span>Strong interpersonal and written communications skills<\/span>Nice to have – developing experience with Python and frameworks such as Flask, Django, Gunicorn<\/span>Basic Qualifications:<\/b><\/span>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields.<\/span>Previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields.<\/span>Ability to work well in team environment following Agile software development principles.<\/span>Strong interpersonal and written communications skills.<\/span>Strong communication skills are required.<\/span>Demonstrated ability to successfully multi-task.<\/span>High energy and a self-starter.<\/span>About S&P Global Commodity Insights
