By balancing a refined outlook with the best lifestyle programming, we capture the excitement of being in-the-know — connecting people to the city, the culture and the moment.<\/span>Job Description<\/b><\/span>Position Summary<\/b><\/span>The Director of People & Culture is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the People & Culture function across both properties. The role ensures effective implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures in line with Accor standards, while supporting business objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.<\/span>The incumbent will act as a strategic partner to the General Manager and Executive Committee, driving employee engagement, talent development, and operational excellence.<\/span>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>1. Strategic Management<\/span>Develop and implement the People & Culture strategy in alignment with business objectives and Accor guidelines.<\/span>Provide strategic HR support to the Executive Committee.<\/span>Drive organizational development, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.<\/span>2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning<\/span>Oversee recruitment and selection processes to ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates.<\/span>Ensure adherence to approved manning budgets and organizational structure.<\/span>Promote employer branding initiatives in line with Accor standards.<\/span>3. Learning & Development<\/span>Implement training plans and development programs in line with Accor learning frameworks.<\/span>Monitor training effectiveness and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.<\/span>Identify high-potential employees and support succession planning.<\/span>4. Performance Management<\/span>Ensure effective implementation of the performance management system.<\/span>Support department heads in goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.<\/span>Promote a performance-driven culture with clear accountability.<\/span>5. Employee Engagement & Welfare<\/span>Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance satisfaction and retention.<\/span>Ensure effective communication channels across all levels of the organization.<\/span>Oversee employee welfare activities in line with company policies.<\/span>6. Compensation & Benefits<\/span>Ensure proper administration of payroll, benefits, and statutory compliance.<\/span>Maintain internal equity and external competitiveness of compensation structures.<\/span>Monitor labor costs in line with budget guidelines.<\/span>7. Employee Relations & Compliance<\/span>Manage employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary matters.<\/span>Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and Accor policies.<\/span>Maintain positive relations with external authorities and stakeholders where required.<\/span>8. HR Operations & Administration<\/span>Oversee HR administration, documentation, and record management.<\/span>Ensure compliance with internal audits and corporate reporting requirements.<\/span>Maintain HR systems and ensure data accuracy.<\/span>9. Culture & Brand Alignment<\/span>Ensure implementation of Accor values and Heartist\u00ae culture across both properties.<\/span>Support the integration of brand standards for Fairmont and Morgans Originals into daily operations.<\/span>Promote a culture of professionalism, respect, and continuous improvement.<\/span>Qualifications<\/b><\/span>Qualifications & Experience<\/b><\/span>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or related field.<\/span>Minimum 10\u201315 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3\u20135 years in a leadership role.<\/span>Experience in hospitality, preferably within luxury or lifestyle segments.<\/span>Knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory requirements is essential.<\/span>Additional Information<\/b><\/span>Competencies<\/b><\/span>Leadership and Team Management<\/span>Strategic Thinking<\/span>Communication and Interpersonal Skills<\/span>Problem Solving and Decision Making<\/span>Knowledge of HR Practices and Labor Laws<\/span>Change Management<\/p>\n
