Position Summary<\/span>The Full Stack Software Developer will be a key engineering contributor within Worldwide Patient Safety IT, as part of the Drug Development IT organization, supporting critical Risk Minimization systems and related platforms. This role will design, build, and enhance full\u2011stack applications that enable risk minimization capabilities primarily for IMiDs and CELMoDs line of drugs.<\/span>The software developer will work across modern cloud native architectures such as AWS, microservices, BPM platforms, containerized workloads and collaborate closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Senior Developers, Test Lead, IT Validation team, IT Quality Assurance team, and Global Risk Management stakeholders. The position requires strong technical acumen, end\u2011to\u2011end ownership, learning mindset and the ability to operate in a highly regulated life\u2011sciences environment. Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 Develop high\u2011quality, secure, cloud\u2011ready applications using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and other full\u2011stack technologies.<\/span>\u00b7 Build REST APIs, UI components, integration layers, and unit tests under guidance from senior engineers.<\/span>\u00b7 Contribute to implementing workflows leveraging Camunda BPM or similar platforms, following established patterns from existing Risk Minimization systems.<\/span>\u00b7 Support microservices development, containerization, and code\u2011level optimizations.<\/span>\u00b7 Write clean, maintainable code along with clear technical documentation.<\/span>\u00b7 Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and requirement clarification sessions.<\/span>\u00b7 Support CI\/CD build pipelines and deployment preparation.<\/span>\u00b7 Ensure development activities align with validation, audit, GxP, and safety compliance expectations.<\/span>\u00b7 Assist in root\u2011cause analysis, triage, and resolution of technical issues under supervision.<\/span>\u00b7 Support L2\/L3 operational teams as needed, gaining familiarity with production support processes.<\/span>\u00b7 Work within Agile\/Scrum teams, contributing to sprint ceremonies and delivering assigned user stories. Qualifications & Experience<\/span>\u00b7 2 to 4 years of hands-on full stack development experience.<\/span>\u00b7 Strong expertise in:<\/span>o Backend: Java, Spring Boot, REST API development<\/span>o Frontend: ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS<\/span>o Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL or Oracle (NoSQL is a plus)<\/span>o Cloud: Basic to moderate experience with AWS services (Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, ECS, S3, IAM)<\/span>o CI\/CD: Jenkins or GitHub Action or Bitbucket pipelines etc.<\/span>o BPM platforms: Exposure to Camunda\/Pega\/Bonitasoft is desirable, even if limited.<\/span>\u00b7 Experience with microservices, event driven design, containerization (Docker), and modern architectural patterns.<\/span>\u00b7 Practical experience using AI\u2011assisted engineering tools (e.g., code copilots) to accelerate development, test generation, refactoring, and documentation, with a disciplined approach to code quality and security.<\/span>\u00b7 Exposure to life sciences, Risk Evaluation & Mitigation Strategy (REMS), pharmacovigilance or regulated environment is an advantage.<\/span>\u00b7 Experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools, such as JIRA.<\/span>\u00b7 Strong problem\u2011solving skills and attention to detail.<\/span>\u00b7 Ability to work collaboratively in distributed, cross\u2011functional teams.<\/span>\u00b7 Good communication skills and willingness to take direction and grow technically.<\/span>\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.<\/span>\u00b7 AWS or BPM certifications are a plus.<\/span>Why You Should Apply<\/b><\/span>Around the world, we are passionate about making an impact on the lives of patients with serious diseases.
