The ideal candidate should have strong experience in developing automation frameworks using .NET technologies and Selenium. This role requires the ability to work independently, take ownership of automation initiatives, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain automated test scripts using .NET and Selenium to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement robust automation frameworks to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and identify areas for automation.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct functional testing to validate software functionality, identify defects, and ensure adherence to quality standards.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and mentor junior automation engineers, providing guidance on best practices and technical expertise.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with developers and product managers to prioritize testing activities and resolve issues in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze test results and provide insights to stakeholders, driving continuous improvement in testing processes and product quality.<\/li>\n<li>Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in automation testing, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Establish Test Automation process and involve in evaluating\/planning the automation roadmap.<\/li>\n<li>Design, develop and implement a scalable test automation framework and strategy using Selenium and .NET.<\/li>\n<li>Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts for web applications.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to identify automation opportunities and implement effective test automation solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Perform code reviews and ensure automation code quality and adherence to coding standards.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts to identify and resolve issues.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously research and evaluate new automation tools and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.<\/li>\n<li>Provide mentorship and guidance to junior automation engineers.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and execute detailed\u066b comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Qualifications we seek in you!<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Minimum Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Sound experience in Selenium WebDriver automation.<\/li>\n<li>Sound experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as a Senior Automation Engineer or similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency in C# and .NET framework.<\/li>\n<li>Strong in OOPs concept.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on on Selenium Grid.<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency in automation testing using .NET and Selenium.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of software development methodologies, testing techniques, and QA best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with functional testing, including test case design, execution, and defect management.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and coaching junior team members.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Certification in automation testing or related areas is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to review test scripts and results generated by other testers.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn new technologies and quickly adapt to new situations.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience creating test cases that simulate real-life customer scenarios.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with relational database queries (MS-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Preferred qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with other automation tools\/frameworks such as SpecFlow, NUnit, or TestNG.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with continuous integration\/continuous deployment (CI\/CD) pipelines.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Why join Genpact?
