Read on\u2026<\/span>What you\u2019ll do in the role:<\/span>Application Development:<\/span>Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient Python-based applications and services.<\/span>Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.<\/span>System Architecture:<\/span>Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design robust system architectures that meet business requirements.<\/span>Ensure scalability, security, and performance in all solutions.<\/span>Code Reviews and Mentorship:<\/span>Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to standards.<\/span>Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering technical growth within the team.<\/span>Integration and Automation:<\/span>Develop and maintain APIs and integrations with third-party systems.<\/span>Automate repetitive tasks and workflows to improve efficiency.<\/span>Testing and Debugging:<\/span>Write unit tests, integration tests, and perform debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.<\/span>Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.<\/span>Collaboration and Communication:<\/span>Work closely with product managers, DevOps, and other teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.<\/span>Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.<\/span>Continuous Improvement:<\/span>Stay updated with the latest Python frameworks, libraries, and tools.<\/span>Propose and implement improvements to existing systems and processes.<\/span>Data Handling and Analysis:<\/span>Work with large datasets, ensuring efficient data processing and storage.<\/span>Implement data pipelines and ETL processes as needed.<\/span>What you\u2019ll bring to the role:<\/span>At least 6 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role<\/span>10-15 years of professional experience in Python development.<\/span>Proficiency with Python and libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn, pandas, deep-learning.<\/span>Expertise in Python frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.<\/span>Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).<\/span>Proficiency in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).<\/span>Experience with CI\/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).<\/span>Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, Angular) is a plus.<\/span>Strong networking background – IP, Firewalls, Proxy, Routing, Load Balancing, OSI Model, Packet trace and analysis, etc.)<\/span>Good understanding of the protocols underpinning the web – TCP\/IP, HTTP, SSL\/TLS etc. (Ideal candidate would be able to intelligently dissect all 7 layers of the OSI stack) and troubleshoot.<\/span>Hands on experience in understanding different data sets generated from various cybersecurity products\/ services\/ SIEM tools<\/span>Understanding of data structures, data modelling and software architecture<\/span>Experience in architecture, design, and implementation of data intensive applications for practical use-cases<\/span>Practical knowledge of deep learning implementation in at least one of the areas Cyber, NLP, Image Processing<\/span>Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills<\/span>Expertise in visualizing large datasets in an efficient manner<\/span>Ability to work in fast paced and dynamic environment<\/span>Good written and verbal communication skills<\/span>Strong sense of ownership and accountability of deliverables<\/span>WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:<\/span>We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
