With typically 11+ years of experience, this role involves leading engineering projects, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the scalability, performance, and quality of software systems.<\/span>The Principal Software Engineer collaborates closely with product management, design, and other engineering teams to define technical solutions and integrate them into the product development lifecycle. This position necessitates advanced problem-solving skills, expertise in software engineering practices, and the ability to mentor teammates.<\/span>WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR<\/b><\/span>You will be using multiple technologies, and your responsibilities will also include:<\/span>Lead the design and development of complex software solutions, ensuring they meet business and client needs.<\/span>Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other engineers, creating a culture of innovation and excellence.<\/span>Collaborate in cross-functional teams, including product management and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of solutions into the product.<\/span>Review and improve software design, architecture, and implementation to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.<\/span>Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.<\/span>Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices, continuously improving engineering processes and solutions.<\/span>Contribute to the development of technical documentation and ensure alignment with product specifications and user requirements.<\/span>Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.<\/span>Facilitate design discussions and work break down with team and stakeholders.<\/span>WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR<\/b><\/span>Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to – and interested in – learning the rest.<\/span>Programming<\/span>Deep expertise in .NET Core, C#, and Angular frameworks.<\/span>Solid focus on code quality, maintainability, security, and documentation.<\/span>Champion of coding standards, design patterns, and best practices across the team.<\/span>Databases & Data Structures<\/span>Advanced knowledge of relational (SQL Server\/Azure SQL) or non\u2011relational (Cosmos DB\/MongoDB) databases.<\/span>DevOps & CI\/CD Practices<\/span>Solid understanding of Azure DevOps and modern CI\/CD pipelines.<\/span>Advocate of automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Azure Bicep, and continuous testing.<\/span>Cloud Technologies<\/span>Proficient grasp of Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Azure AD B2C etc).<\/span>Experienced in architecting cloud\u2011native solutions around microservices including good experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud security best practices.<\/span>Design & Planning<\/span>Design software features, evaluating size, risks and planning implementation, task breakdown and efficient collaboration.<\/span>Debugging & Problem Solving<\/span>Resolves complex, multi\u2011service issues across distributed systems.<\/span>Improves system resilience and prevents recurrence through root\u2011cause analysis and system\u2011level fixes.<\/span>WHAT WE VALUE<\/b><\/span>Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-204).<\/span>Experience with containerization (Docker, Container Apps)<\/span>BENEFITS<\/b><\/span>Global hybrid work policy – We ask you to work 2 days a week from the office.
