This high-performing engineer will be a critical member of a co-located team generating software and evidence for safety critical systems. You will interact with our highly skilled global teams in North America or Europe on a regular basis:<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Your Role<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop system tests and execution of system test cases for a highly available, carrier grade platform which will be the platform of choice for 5G vendors<\/li>\n<li>Work with the most dynamic and exciting open source software projects today \u2013 Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, Helm, Openstack, Ansible, Ceph, etc<\/li>\n<li>Work as part of a team focused on containerization, virtualization, VM management and fault tolerant\/carrier grade testing.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and report issues during product verification cycles<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to documentation and customer-facing teams<\/li>\n<li>Participate in all aspects of the software development process using agile development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Your Background<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc \/ MSc degree (Computer Science, Computer\/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree) More than 7-10 years of relevant technical experience in software development and testing automation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>#EXP[7-10]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in software test automation and developing test automation framework from scratch<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Linux environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong programming skills using Python with different frameworks (Robot, Pytest etc.) and Plugins<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and debugging skills<\/li>\n<li>Hands on experience with Elastic Stack verification<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to back-end and UI automation<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional team player who works well in collaborative environments<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to other languages (Shell Scripting) would be an asset<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of other domains such as storage\/security\/DC would be a plus<\/li>\n<li>Self-managed, fast learner with the desire and ability to master new technologies<\/li>\n<li>Experience with containers and\/or cloud-based technologies including Kubernetes, OpenStack would be an asset<\/li>\n<li>Experience with industry standard networking test tools would be an asset<\/li>\n<li>A good level of understanding \/ contribution to the open source community would be an asset<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> #LI-NC1<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Privacy Notice &#8211; Active Candidates:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Aptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.
