We are seeking a Linguistic QA Tester \/ Proofreader with native-level fluency in Malayalam and strong technical skills.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>In this role, you will test a variety of applications and tools, execute test cases, identify localization issues, and report them through our internal bug-tracking system. You will also verify fixes once implemented.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>This is a fully remote, part-time position (20 hours per week) with an open-ended contract.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Test web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Execute test cases and scripts to ensure localization accuracy<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Identify, report, and track localization bugs using an internal bug-tracking system<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Verifying fixes and ensuring linguistic and functional quality<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Prioritize linguistic issues, distinguishing between critical and non-critical errors<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Clearly document and communicate issue reproduction steps<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Requirements<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Native-level fluency in Malayalam (grammar, vocabulary, composition, and punctuation)<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Fluency in English (written and spoken)<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Experience in translation, localization, or linguistic QA<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot issues<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Familiarity with bug-tracking systems and test case execution<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic setting<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Must be legally based in the country listed in the job posting<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Recruitment Process:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
