This includes managing server hardware, network software, protocols, and application software, particularly e by Epicor<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>What you will be doing:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performance and Reliability: Ensure the SQL Server environment, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB are stable and reliable, supporting the effective operation of e by Epicor<\/li>\n<li>Administration: Oversee the administration of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB, including server hardware, network software, and protocols<\/li>\n<li>Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.<\/li>\n<li>Backup and Recovery: Develop and manage backup and recovery plans to ensure data protection and restoration in case of failure.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor database performance and optimize queries and indexes to improve efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including IT and development teams, to support their database needs and ensure seamless integration of applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> What you will likely bring: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SQL Server Administration: In-depth knowledge of SQL Server administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Cloud-Based Solutions: Proficiency in managing cloud-based databases like PostgreSQL and DynamoDB<\/li>\n<li>Client\/Server Environment: Broad understanding of all components of the Client\/Server Environment, with a focus on SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and e by Epicor<\/li>\n<li>Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve database issues.<\/li>\n<li>Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Objectives:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stability: Provide a stable and reliable environment for Epicor, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB to operate effectively<\/li>\n<li>Efficiency: Optimize database performance to ensure efficient operation and quick response times.<\/li>\n<li>Security: Maintain robust security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li>Support: To meet their database needs and offer timely and practical support to other departments and teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>9+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success\/knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>2+ years managing and developing employees.<\/li>\n<li>2+ years of specialized\/industry experience.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree (or equivalent experience).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> #LI-CD1 #LI-HYBRID<span class=\"br\"><\/span>About Epicor<span class=\"br\"><\/span>At Epicor, we\u2019re truly a team.
