Albertsons Companies India is a vital extension of the Albertsons Companies Inc. workforce and important to the next phase in the company &#038; technology journey to support millions of customers &#038; lives every day.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Description<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Position Title: Sr Engineer Software<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Function:<\/b><br \/><b>Job Description:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Roles &#038; responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands on code writing and doing code reviews<\/li>\n<li>Evaluates complex user requests, projects, and clarifies objectives and functional requirements for new or modified computer programs<\/li>\n<li>Designs\/develops software solutions and business process solutions based on business needs and requirements using specialized domain knowledge and developed business expertise<\/li>\n<li>Improves\/sustains embedded system software using specialized domain knowledge and developed business expertise<\/li>\n<li>Conducts and prepares feasibility studies for new applications and\/or existing ones and makes decisions within general parameters under little supervisions<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates standards to deliver high-quality products and services; models adherence to quality standards for more junior employees<\/li>\n<li>Focus on quality in all aspects of work; Follows established standards of excellence and also continues to strive on improving them.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in the hiring process (by submitting referrals, meeting candidates, attending recruiting events, presenting externally, writing blogs)<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to team activities and collaborates within all teams within\/across domains to solve problems.<\/li>\n<li>Has deeper understanding of quality standards and guides others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Experience Required:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>69 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer inJava, Web, and Mobile development technologies<\/li>\n<li>6+ years of programming experience in OOAD, Java EE, Web Technologies, and REST APIs<\/li>\n<li>Specialized knowledge of application servers such as Tomcat, Apache Jetty, Reactor Netty<\/li>\n<li>Specialized knowledge of database technologies including relational databases (Oracle, Azure SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and\/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra), with experience inmobile data synchronization and offline storage<\/li>\n<li>Specialized knowledge in UI\/Web 2.0 Development (JavaScript, CSS, SCSS, HTML5, AJAX, jQuery, NodeJS, ReactJS, AngularJS), includingresponsive and mobile-first design principles<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience withmobile application developmentusing frameworks such asReact Native, Flutter, or native Android\/iOS SDKs<\/li>\n<li>Strong expertise in design patterns, with a solid foundation in building scalable and maintainable applications across web and mobile platforms<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 2+ years of experience with cloud platform services and application development using Microsoft Azure, GCP, or AWS<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools<\/li>\n<li>Specialized knowledge of the full software development lifecycle<\/li>\n<li>Specialized knowledge of automated unit testing with tools like JUnit\/TestNG and test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, Rest-Assured, Karate; plusmobile testing toolslike Appium or Espresso<\/li>\n<li>Specialized knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to understand client\/stakeholder expectations and recognize and escalate issues that may affect delivery<\/li>\n<li>Specialized knowledge in CI\/CD processes using Jenkins or GitHub Actions<\/li>\n<li>Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and\/or Kubernetes is a strong plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Competencies:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compassionate and kind, showing courtesy, dignity, and respect.
