Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Minimum Qualifications: \u2022 Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.<br \/>\n       OR<br \/>\n       Master&#8217;s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.<br \/>\n       OR<br \/>\n       PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Job Overview: As a member of the Fingerprint SW team, the developer shall design, implement, and support Android applications for Qualcomm Fingerprint Solution.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Role:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Proven experience in Android application development.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>SW design and development on multiprocessor and multithreaded platforms.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Debug and resolve issues in SW reported by internal test teams as well as by customers.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Minimum Qualifications:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>1 to 3 years of experience with Android application development.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Must be proficient in Java, OOPS and Android Concepts.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Expertise in Android studio and UI development with fragments and creating responsive designs.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Android build system experience.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Good analytical and problem-solving skills.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Preferred Qualifications:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Strong understanding of Android components like ViewModel , Preferences, UI layouts.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Hands-on experience with Android design patterns.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Good understanding of multiprocessor architecture and familiarity with Android debugging.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Proficiency in Java and familiarity with Java Reflection APIs.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Good to have exposure with ARM based processors and SW development in Middleware layer.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Education Requirements: Bachelor&#8217;s\/Master&#8217;s degree in Electronics or Computer Science, Electrical Engineering.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
