Successful candidates will be experienced programmers who can develop user stories, develop test cases, break down, design, and develop solutions in an environment with constant collaborative discussions. They will be matured individuals who are comfortable working in an agile environment with critical peer reviews of design and code. They must be able to offer constructive critical reviews of other’s designs and code. They must be able to collaboratively work with product owners to develop use stories and test cases. They will be able to research, trial, and recommend new technologies of interest to the group. They will have experience with taking code through testing, deployment, and production and will not have merely handed off code to QA and Production Support<\/span>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/span>Key Roles and Responsibilities<\/b>
\n Requires a sound knowledge on Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle
\n Review product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous and verifiable.
\n Collect inputs and define test strategy and planning (types of testing, project scope, detail explanation of particular release, risk, assumption, issues, dependencies etc)
\n Should possess strong knowledge in Java, Automated testing, API automation using rest assured\/ API client, Gherkin\/ Cucumber, Selenium, Appium, API testing, RDBMS and JMeter performance scripting, Ruby.
\n Embedded in scrum team, test continually the solution in order to detect bugs as soon as possible. Correctly report bugs as per procedure defined.
\n Advocate delivery excellence, minimising delivery risk.
\n Work closely with cross-functional teams in agile development.
\n Conduct continuous development and\/or integration & testing.
\n Contributing towards product evolvement and knowledge management
\n Contributing to process improvement and ensure process compliance
\n Support continuous improvement process by putting in place proactively actions to reduce impact and risk on assigned project.
\n Ability to build effective working relationships.<\/span>Strategy<\/b>
\n Awareness and understanding of the business strategy and model appropriate to the role<\/span>Business<\/b>
\n Awareness and understanding of Retail business, the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates<\/span>Processes

\n Strong development and testing life cycle knowledge.
\n Strong sense of responsibility in managing the workload and deliverables
\n Skill to coordinate with clients and with respect to all testing teams.

\n Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.<\/span>Qualification<\/b><\/span>Banking Domain Knowledge is preferable
\n Experience in the software development using Agile methodologies
\n Experience in software testing life cycle using Agile methodologies
\n Knowledge & Experience in practising Agile & Lean framework
\n Knowledge & Experience in the API & SQL
\n Knowledge in Java programming language
\n Knowledge in Selenium Automation \/ Cucumber \/ TestNg
\n Experience in preparing Test Plan and Automation Test Strategy for the applications. Test Automation script development experience for Web, Client’s, Mobile, Mainframe etc
\n Knowledge in Performance Testing is an added advantage.
