Read on\u2026<\/span>What you\u2019ll do in the role:<\/span>Design, develop, and maintain data integration workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.<\/span>Work extensively with relational databases (DB2, or similar) including database design, writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, and performance tuning.<\/span>Implement and optimize data models for both OLTP and analytical workloads.<\/span>Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in ETL jobs and database queries.<\/span>Collaborate with application teams and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.<\/span>Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are met throughout the data lifecycle.<\/span>Maintain and support existing ETL processes and database systems, proactively identifying areas for improvement.<\/span>What you\u2019ll bring to the role:<\/span>4 years of hands-on development experience with Informatica PowerCenter.<\/span>Strong expertise in relational databases (preferably DB2), including schema design, complex SQL development, and performance tuning.<\/span>Solid understanding of Data Architecture Principles, Data Governance, Data Strategy, Data Standards, Data Quality, and Data Modeling (both enterprise and dimensional models).<\/span>Experience with designing and developing complex ETL mappings, including the use of various Informatica transformations (lookup, aggregator, router, joiner, etc.).<\/span>Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement practical solutions.<\/span>Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment<\/span>Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.<\/span>Experience with scripting\/programming languages (e.g., Python) for automating data cleansing, transformation, or workflow orchestration.<\/span>Familiarity with popular Python libraries for data (e.g., Pandas, Numpy).<\/span>Knowledge of one popular Python framework (Flask, Django, etc.).<\/span>Experience working with data visualization or BI tools (e.g., Tableau).<\/span>Awareness of modern data warehousing and big data concepts.<\/span>WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:<\/span>We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
