Job Description:<\/b><\/span>Full Stack Developer<\/span>Role Overview<\/b>
\n As a Full Stack Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications for global consumer and enterprise commerce projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams\u2014including design, database, and DevOps specialists\u2014to deliver robust solutions for large-scale retail environments.<\/span>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Java, Node.js, or Next.js for backend and React (or similar advanced frontend frameworks) for frontend<\/span>Collaborate with designers to ensure seamless integration of UI\/UX elements.<\/span>Implement and integrate RESTful APIs for smooth frontend-backend communication<\/span>Should have experience in developing apps in AWS and Azure environment<\/span>Design, manage, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, CouchDB)<\/span>Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and collaborative planning sessions<\/span>Ensure application responsiveness, cross-platform compatibility, and adherence to security best practices<\/span>Use Git for version control and participate in CI\/CD pipeline processes<\/span>Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance<\/span>Stay updated with the latest development trends and tools.<\/span>Qualifications<\/b><\/span>3\u20136 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer (5+ years for a senior level resource)<\/span>Proficiency in backend: Java, Node.js, or Next.js<\/span>Proficiency in frontend: React (preferred), with experience in other frameworks like Angular or Vue.js a plus.<\/span>Solid understanding of database design and management (SQL and NoSQL)<\/span>Experience with RESTful APIs, Git, and agile methodologies<\/span>Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices is desirable<\/span>Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in multi-skilled teams<\/span>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)<\/span>Certifications (good to have \u2013 one of more)<\/span>Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate Or similar<\/span>AWS Certified Developer \u2013 Associate or similar<\/span>Google Cloud Certified \u2013 Professional Cloud Developer or similar<\/span>Senior Full Stack Developer<\/span>Location: Remote; but will need proximity to Pune\/Bangalore offices for team collaboration\/training\/delivery projects.<\/span>Role Overview<\/b>
\n As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will architect, lead, and deliver complex, scalable web solutions for global commerce and large-scale retail projects. You will provide technical leadership, mentor teams, and drive best practices across backend and frontend development, database design, DevOps, and cloud integration.<\/span>Experience level must be in the 7+ 12 year experience range and atleast of 4 years of full stack active hands on experience<\/span>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>Lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade web applications using Java, Node.js, or Next.js (backend) and React or similar advanced frontend frameworks<\/span>Should have experience in developing apps in AWS and Azure environment<\/span>Architect scalable, high-performance solutions for global consumer and enterprise commerce platforms<\/span>Oversee and guide the integration of RESTful APIs, microservices, and third-party systems<\/span>Mentor and coach junior developers; promote best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment<\/span>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, database, DevOps, business analysts) to align technical solutions with business goals<\/span>Drive database architecture, optimization, and security for both SQL and NoSQL systems<\/span>Champion CI\/CD, automated testing, and cloud-native deployment strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP)<\/span>Ensure application security, compliance, and data integrity across all layers<\/span>Lead troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident resolution for mission-critical applications<\/span>Stay ahead of emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends; drive continuous improvement<\/span>Qualifications<\/b><\/span>7+ years of full stack development experience, including large-scale, global projects in consumer or enterprise commerce\/retail<\/span>Advanced expertise in backend: Java, Node.js, or Next.js; strong experience with microservices architecture<\/span>Advanced expertise in frontend: React (preferred), with proficiency in other modern frameworks (Angular, Vue.js, etc.)<\/span>Deep knowledge of database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CouchDB) and data modeling for scalability and security<\/span>Proven experience with CI\/CD, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)<\/span>Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration skills<\/span>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation abilities<\/span>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field<\/span>Experience in the retail or commerce domain is highly valued<\/span>Certifications (good to have \/one or more of the below)<\/span>AWS\/Azure or GCP Certification<\/span>DevOps\/Kubernetes<\/span>Senior full stack developers are expected to be AI-ready, leveraging AI tools not just for coding assistance but to architect intelligent, scalable applications that integrate AI and machine learning capabilities effectively<\/span>Using AI-powered coding assistants like GitHub Copilot and improving productivity<\/span>Integrating AI\/ML models for personalization, recommendations, natural language processing (NLP), and predictive analytics into full stack applications, enhancing user experience and backend intelligence<\/span>Understanding AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras<\/span>Driving innovation by combining AI capabilities with strong system design, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices to deliver robust, scalable, and intelligent applications<\/span>Location: DGS India – Pune – Extentia Tower<\/span>Brand: Merkle<\/span>Time Type: Full time<\/span>Contract Type: Permanent<\/p>\n
