At the same time, it offers flexibility you need to focus and do your best work.<\/span>Mission and Goals<\/span>In this role as a Full stack Web Development and Design Specialist, you will design, define and architect high-performance, cloud-hosted applications that seamlessly integrate cutting-edge backend and frontend technologies. This role will demand for designing secure APIs and robust web services and microservices will ensure smooth integration across diverse systems. The role is expected to create intuitive user interfaces that guarantee functionality and responsiveness, optimizing for all mobile devices. Collaborating closely with all stakeholders, the role will define and develop world-class, reusable user experience interactions that enhance usability and delight users.<\/span>Objectives<\/b><\/span>Advanced Problem-Solving \u2013 Apply deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns to build robust solutions.<\/span>Architecture, Design & Development \u2013 Lead the design and implementation of high-performing, cloud-hosted web applications across the full stack.<\/span>Secure API & Microservices Development \u2013 Develop and maintain secure, scalable APIs, web services, and microservices for complex integrations.<\/span>System Integration \u2013 Build seamless interfaces that work effectively with heterogeneous systems and external services.<\/span>Performance & Responsiveness \u2013 Ensure applications are optimized for speed, scalability, and cross-platform compatibility, including mobile.<\/span>UX Collaboration \u2013 Work closely with UX\/UI teams to create reusable, intuitive, and engaging user experiences.<\/span>Code Quality & Testing \u2013 Write clean, modular, and maintainable code, complemented by comprehensive unit, integration, and functional tests.<\/span>Debugging & Productivity Tools \u2013 Troubleshoot complex issues, resolve defects efficiently, and develop internal tools to enhance team productivity.<\/span>Competencies<\/b><\/span>Full stack web developer with 9-12 years of experience in Web application Design and development.<\/span>Primary Skills:<\/b><\/span>Strong expertise in Python web development with Django (including Django REST Framework)<\/span>Proficiency in Scala or Java for backend and enterprise application development<\/span>Expertise in SQL and BigQuery for data querying, analytics, and reporting<\/span>Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap for building responsive user interfaces when required<\/span>Solid understanding of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and deployment best practices<\/span>Secondary Skills:<\/b><\/span>AI-Driven Development \u2013 Proficient in leveraging AI-powered tools and platforms to enhance productivity, code quality, and design innovation, including:<\/span>Code Generation & Assistance: GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Tabnine<\/span>Automated Testing & Debugging: CodiumAI, Testim.io<\/span>Design & Prototyping: Figma AI, Uizard<\/span>Data-Driven Insights: OpenAI API, LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers<\/span>DevOps Automation: AIOps tools for monitoring, CI\/CD optimization, and anomaly detection<\/span>Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright , Pytest, NUnit)<\/span>Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Splunk, Azure DevOps, AWS, TeamCity)<\/span>Exposure to cloud-native application development and CI\/CD best practices<\/span>Gen is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusivity.
