SAP applications and services enable customers to operate profitably, adapt continuously, and grow sustainably.<\/span>Purpose and Objective<\/b><\/span>Within the Product Engineering (PE) division, the Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) Delivery Technical Operations team runs the HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and is responsible for OS, DB & SAP Apps (such as S\/4 HANA) operations & support for our customers across multiple infrastructures – SAP DCs, AWS, Azure & GCP. We are looking for an IT Technology Associate Consultant who will be responsible for infrastructure support and services along with running SAP\u2019s backend technology including operations of state-of-the-art datacenters as well as client technology around the globe.<\/span>What you’ll do –<\/b><\/span>As an IT Technology Consultant, you will be responsible for:<\/span>\u00b7 Handling Incidents, Alerts, and Service Requests<\/span>\u00b7 Delivery and maintenance of complex SAP Landscapes by providing technical expertise and support.<\/span>\u00b7 Planning, setup, implementation, and operation of SAP technologies, achieving ambitious SLAs<\/span>\u00b7 Conceptual design, configuration, and administration of server landscapes with focus on Linux Operating systems<\/span>\u00b7 Troubleshooting and resolving any hardware, OS, App and DB related issues that impact the business<\/span>\u00b7 Managing daily operations ensuring high availability<\/span>\u00b7 Proper documentation, definition of technical operational concepts and guidelines for the implemented SAP landscapes and roll out of this information\/knowledge to the rest of the<\/span>team<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 Coordination with international teams in global projects \/ crisis handling \/ de-escalation initiatives<\/span>\u00b7 While cross-trained in all topic areas (Basis\/application, OS and Database), you\u2019ll specialize in one of these areas and own incidents and service requests closure end-to-end<\/span>What you bring –<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 BE \/ BTech \/ MCA from a reputable institute<\/span>\u00b7 1 to 3 years of work experience as Technical SAP NetWeaver Consultant (ABAP and Java Basis Administration)<\/span>\u00b7 Working knowledge on Business Object Products (BOBI, BODS etc)<\/span>\u00b7 Working knowledge in UNIX\/Linux environment, HANA DB and Sybase ASE databases.<\/span>\u00b7 Basic knowledge of Network and Storage<\/span>\u00b7 Basic knowledge of one or more of the following products is preferred: Content Server, Convergent Charging, MDM, GK Software, OpenText, SAP Cloud Connector, TOMCAT, IIS, IDM, SCM Optimizer, SAP Mobile Platform, TREX, Business Connector<\/span>\u00b7 Experience working in an international environment, being able to work effectively with international and virtual teams<\/span>\u00b7 Capable in technical documentation and creation of knowledge-based assets (KBAs)<\/span>\u00b7 Ability to continuously acquire new knowledge proactively and independently<\/span>\u00b7 Analytical and solution-oriented thinking<\/span>\u00b7 Exposure to ITIL framework<\/span>Preferred:<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 Working knowledge in UNIX\/Linux environment, HANA DB and Sybase ASE databases<\/span>\u00b7 Exposure to network services like DNS, LDAP, Samba, sFTP, Sendmail, Postfix<\/span>\u00b7 Basic understanding of NFS, BlockDevice, Raid concepts<\/span>\u00b7 Scripting experience – Any of Shell, Perl, Python, Go, or similar<\/span>\u00b7 Working experience in Virtualization (XEN, VMware)<\/span>\u00b7 Experience with OS monitoring, backup\/restore, configuration automation technologies (Chef)<\/span>\u00b7 Experience on at least one of the public cloud service providers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform)<\/span>WHAT YOU GET FROM US<\/b><\/span>Success is what you make it.
