About the Role<\/b><\/span>We’re seeking an experienced UI Developer to join our team. As a UI Developer, you’ll lead the development of complex user interfaces and UI components for Android Automotive OS applications using Jetpack Compose.<\/span>What You Will Do<\/b><\/span>1. UI Development: Develop complex user interfaces and UI components for Android Automotive OS applications.<\/span>2. MVVM Adoption: Contribute to the adoption of the MVVM architectural pattern and best practices within the UI team.<\/span>3. Collaboration: Collaborate with UX\/UI design team, UI Architect, and Product Owner to ensure alignment on technical feasibility and user experience goals.<\/span>4. UI Testing: Design and implement unit and UI testing strategies using frameworks like JUnit, Espresso, and Compose testing.<\/span>5. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and UI\/UX issues.<\/span>What You Need to Be Successful<\/b><\/span>1. Android Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Android application development, with a focus on UI development using Jetpack Compose.<\/span>2. Jetpack Compose: Working experience with creating UI using Jetpack Compose.<\/span>3. Testing: Ability to write JUnit and Espresso test cases.<\/span>4. Android Automotive OS: Knowledge of the Android Automotive OS framework, its architecture, and UI-specific APIs.<\/span>5. Kotlin Development: Sound experience with Kotlin-first development and UI development using Coroutines.<\/span>Bonus Points if You Have<\/b><\/span>1. System-UI Know-how: Experience working with notification center, status bar, and toast messages.<\/span>What Makes You Eligible<\/span>1.
