\n Experience Level: Mid-Level (3\u20135 Years)<\/span>Job Summary:<\/b><\/span>We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with 3\u20135 years of hands-on experience in building scalable enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Java technologies and able to work in a collaborative, agile environment alongside global teams.<\/span>Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>Develop and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java technologies.<\/span>Analyze business user stories and translate them into well-defined technical tasks.<\/span>Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across data pipelines and reporting layers.<\/span>Interface and collaborate with global development teams and business stakeholders.<\/span>Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to a high-quality development environment.<\/span>Required Skills:<\/b><\/span>Strong hands-on experience with Core Java (preferably Java 1.8 or later).<\/span>Proficient in Java EE multi-tier architecture and application design.<\/span>Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs, using frameworks such as:<\/span>Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring AOP, Spring Batch<\/span>Familiar with Gradle for build automation.<\/span>Proficient in web services and protocols: XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, microservices, Tomcat.<\/span>Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with RDBMS platforms (DB2, MSSQL, Sybase) and JDBC.<\/span>Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps integration, and CI\/CD tools.<\/span>Experience with version control and CI\/CD tools such as:<\/span>GIT, Jenkins Pipelines, and Gradle<\/span>Understanding of enterprise application needs such as security, entitlements, and performance.<\/span>Excellent communication skills for individual and group collaboration.<\/span>Desired Skills:<\/b><\/span>Scripting knowledge in Python, Unix Shell, Perl, or PowerShell.<\/span>Experience with event messaging systems like Kafka, MQ, JMS.<\/span>Familiarity with cloud platforms such as:<\/span>Preferred: Azure<\/span>Others: AWS, Google Cloud Platform<\/span>Understanding of front-end technologies:<\/span>HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like Angular or ReactJS<\/span>Prior experience in banking, brokerage, or wealth management domains is highly desirable.<\/span>Exposure to Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools like JIRA, RALLY.<\/span>Understanding of software design patterns and web development frameworks.<\/span>Familiarity with Agile processes, biweekly sprints, and continuous delivery best practices.<\/span>Knowledge of AI\/ML concepts and their application in the financial domain is a plus.<\/span>Additional Responsibilities for Senior Roles (5\u20138 Years):<\/span>[Applicable if considering candidates for Senior Java Developer roles as well]<\/span>Mentor and guide junior developers.<\/span>Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration with Microsoft tools and platforms.<\/span>Identify areas for innovation and improvement in development tools and platform services.<\/span>Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices around performance, security, readability, and documentation.<\/span>Champion Agile development practices and help drive the adoption of Agile tools across teams.<\/span>Implement financial domain-specific use cases leveraging ML\/AI (if applicable).<\/span>Educational Qualifications:<\/b><\/span>Minimum: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.<\/span>Advanced degrees or professional certifications are an added advantage.<\/span>Skills:<\/b><\/span>Core Java,RESTful APIs\/Web services,SQL\/RDBMS<\/span>About Company:<\/b><\/span>UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider.
