The associate will develop application code, contribute to and manage version-controlled source code repositories, and will manage assigned tasks to create measurable value and deliver software to market using industry- recognized agile methodologies and best practices. The associate will contribute to the prescribed standards and guidelines and will act as a consultant to the architects and leadership teams and must demonstrate quality, brevity, and timeliness in all deliverables.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>In this role candidate will:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Developing and maintaining technical documentation and diagrams.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to developers.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Help resolve complex technical challenges within the project<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Participate in the development of core application components<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Ensure smooth integration of different software modules and services.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Work on performance optimization and security enhancements<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Support DevOps and CI\/CD implementations. Ensure scalability and resilience of cloud applications.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Assist in designing and developing microservices-based architectures. Define API specifications, security policies, and integration strategies<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Work with monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or AWS CloudWatch<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and development teams.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Collaborating effectively with engineers, project managers, designers and QA in an agile (Scrum) environment by participating in project scoping and planning, including shaping and estimating of project tasks.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Document architectural decisions, guidelines, and technical specifications.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Other duties and responsibilities as assigned<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Competencies:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Must demonstrate good decision making and effective business acumen.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills including management of pros -vs- cons tradeoff decisions based on cost\/system constraints and future growth.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Must maintain the confidentiality of work-related information and materials.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Must have a growth mindset and subscribe to a continuous learning philosophy.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Demonstrate expertise and mastery in your area of technology and industry.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Great OO skills, including strong design pattern and MVC knowledge.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Must establish and maintain effective working relationships.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>We&#8217;d love to chat if you have&#8230;<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Must Have Skills:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Experience: 10+ years in software development, with at least 4 years in an architecture\/design role.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 B.S. in Software Engineer, Computer Science or other technical discipline or equivalent experience.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Strong experience with Ruby on Rails in customer-facing applications.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Database Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Experience building applications at scale in AWS<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture, including Kafka.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Understanding of OAuth, OIDC, JWT, and application security principles<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Developing application code and unit tests in Ruby on Rails and Python.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, service-oriented architecture.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Making complex technical and design decisions for the front-end projects by consulting with the design team.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Exposure working in Agile environment.
