The Expansion Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying and executing new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and navigating regulatory landscapes. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to develop and implement go-to-market strategies in India and across the region.<\/span>This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional who believes in financial inclusion, digital currencies, and driving innovation in Asia\u2019s financial ecosystem. Occasional international travel is required.<\/span>The ideal candidate is a strategic and entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record in business development, market expansion, and partnership management.<\/span>You have:<\/b><\/span>A degree in Business, Management, or Finance (MBA preferred).<\/span>Strong analytical skills and experience in setting\/monitoring KPIs.<\/span>A proactive, independent, and well-organized approach to work.<\/span>The ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.<\/span>A history of successfully building and managing strategic partnerships.<\/span>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>Business Development & Partnerships<\/span>Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities in India and the region.<\/span>Build strong relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders.<\/span>Develop strategic partnerships with financial institutions, fintech firms, payment providers, and government entities.<\/span>Market Strategy & Execution<\/span>Design and implement go-to-market strategies to expand Tether\u2019s products and services.<\/span>Track and analyze KPIs to assess and optimize market strategies.<\/span>Market Research & Competitive Analysis<\/span>Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, threats, and growth opportunities.<\/span>Analyze USDt and fiat flows for data-driven decision-making.<\/span>Monitor regulatory changes and assess their business impact.<\/span>Stakeholder & Government Engagement<\/span>Manage relationships with regulators, government agencies, and industry bodies.<\/span>Represent the company at key meetings and industry events.<\/span>Marketing & Community Engagement<\/span>Support and participate in fintech, blockchain and digital assets events, conferences, and meetups to enhance brand visibility.<\/span>Investment and Venture Growth<\/span>Identify and evaluate strategic investment opportunities that align with Tether\u2019s mission to expand its ecosystem, drive financial inclusion, and deliver meaningful impact for underserved communities and broader humanity.<\/span>Support the growth of Tether\u2019s portfolio and partners in local markets and across the APAC region.<\/span>Deep knowledge of the Indian specifically and APAC market in general, culture, and regulations in blockchain, fintech, digital assets, remittances, and payments.<\/span>7-10 years work experience in cross-border settlements, mobile money, and payment infrastructures; telecom or banking experience is a plus.<\/span>Fluent in English, with a Business, Management, or Finance degree (MBA preferred).<\/span>Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with partners, regulators, and stakeholders.<\/span>Proven experience in partnerships, KPI monitoring, and business growth.<\/span>Analytical, strategic, and results-driven with problem-solving skills.<\/span>Entrepreneurial background and project management expertise.<\/span>Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments with international travel readiness.<\/p>\n
