If you’re interested in joining a world-class team and working on exciting projects that have a significant impact, we encourage you to apply.<\/span>Software Engineer, Product (Bangalore) Responsibilities<\/span>Full stack web\/mobile application development with a variety of coding languages<\/span>Create products and features using internal programming language Hack<\/span>Implement web or mobile interfaces using XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript<\/span>Work closely with our product management and design teams to define feature specifications and build products leveraging frameworks such as React & React Native<\/span>Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services<\/span>Build report interfaces and data feeds<\/span>Establish self as an owner of a particular component, feature or system with expert end-to-end understanding<\/span>Successfully completes projects at large scope while maintaining a consistent high level of productivity<\/span>Minimum Qualifications<\/b><\/span>6+ years of programming experience in a relevant programming language<\/span>6+ years relevant experience building large-scale applications or similar experience<\/span>Experience as an owner of a particular component, feature or system<\/span>Experience completing projects at large scope<\/span>Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Javascript or Hack<\/span>Experience building and shipping high quality work and achieving high reliability<\/span>Track record of setting technical direction for a team, driving consensus and successful cross-functional partnerships<\/span>Experience improving quality through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changes<\/span>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience<\/span>Successful candidate must remain in role in the same team in India for a minimum period of 24 months before being eligible for transfer to another role, team or location<\/span>Preferred Qualifications<\/b><\/span>Exposure to architectural patterns of large scale software applications<\/span>Experience in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Swift, or Kotlin<\/span>About Meta<\/span>Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
