Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<\/span>Roles & Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>Independently design, implement, and execute test plans for complex features and systems.<\/span>Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) as an active contributor to the team.<\/span>Contribute to story refinement and estimation by identifying test dependencies and required validation strategies.<\/span>Develop robust manual and automated test cases covering UI, API, and backend layers.<\/span>Execute functional, regression, and system tests and document results accurately.<\/span>Troubleshoot issues by analyzing logs, backend data, and service-level integrations.<\/span>Own test environments and configurations, ensuring readiness for validation and issue reproduction.<\/span>Develop and maintain automation test suites integrated into CI\/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bamboo).<\/span>Conduct performance, scalability, and security testing were applicable.<\/span>Ensure test traceability and compliance with internal quality processes and external standards.<\/span>Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to align quality efforts with business goals.<\/span>Proactively identify risks, edge cases, and quality gaps and raise them during the design and development stages.<\/span>Maintain strong documentation practices for test cases, automation frameworks, and issue tracking.<\/span>Technical Requirements:<\/b><\/span>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical thinking.<\/span>Strong experience in backend and API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured or similar.<\/span>Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or Cucumber.<\/span>Experience with testing tools and environments including TestRail, Jira, Git, Jenkins, Docker, etc.<\/span>Comfortable testing cloud-hosted applications and services (AWS\/Azure\/GCP).<\/span>Proficient in writing detailed and reusable test cases, managing test data, and logging issues clearly.<\/span>Familiar with Agile and Scrum methodologies.<\/span>Basic knowledge of performance testing (JMeter or similar tools) and security testing concepts.<\/span>Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.<\/span>Education and\/or Experience:<\/b><\/span>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.<\/span>10-12 years of hands-on experience in software testing, primarily as an individual contributor.<\/span>Experience testing mobile applications, particularly with Xamarin and C# (Java\/Kotlin is a plus).<\/span>Prior exposure to firmware, hardware, or embedded system testing is highly desirable.<\/span>Working knowledge of microservices architecture and containerized deployments.<\/span>Experience with CI\/CD systems and maintaining automation in a DevOps setup.<\/span>Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack) for system-level debugging and validation.<\/span>Proficient in Java 8 and above, with strong understanding of language features such as Streams, Lambda expressions, and functional interfaces.<\/span>Strong understanding of various communication protocols including MQTT, WebSocket, and HTTP(S).<\/span>Experience working with low-level communication interfaces such as USB Serial, RS232, UART, SPI, and I2C.<\/span>Why apply?<\/b><\/span>Empowerment: You’ll work as part of a global team in a flexible work environment, learning and enhancing your expertise.
