Within OCI, the Virtual Networking team is responsible for delivering innovative networks with high performance characteristics that exceed those of our competitors.<\/span>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>As a member of the Routing and Distribution Service (RADS) team, you will take an active role in the design, implementation, and operate of highly available, massive scale, integrated cloud services in a distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment.<\/span>Basic Qualifications:<\/b><\/span>10+ years of experience with systems\/application development<\/span>Proficient with data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.<\/span>Software-based packet forwarding experience, Core packet processing (CPP)<\/span>Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP\/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures<\/span>Experience with distributed systems: familiarity with High Availability(HA), messaging, State replication<\/span>Proficient at programming C\/C++, Python, Java, GoLang, Solid understanding of Linux networking constructs<\/span>Experience working with various Network Virtualization technologies<\/span>Experience working with fast and large scale read\/write intensive distributed systems<\/span>Excellent communication skills in written and verbal forms, and an ability to communicate complex technical issues to a range of technical and non-technical audiences (management, peers)<\/span>Experience with agile development methodologies<\/span>Experience designing and developing for scale with regards to testing, reliability, security, and observability<\/span>Preferred Qualifications:<\/b><\/span>Bachelors or Masters \/ PhD degree in Computer Science or related engineering fields<\/span>Experience providing technical leadership for customer facing features<\/span>Experience with developing fault-tolerant systems<\/span>Experience owning production backend services<\/span>Experience in Infrastructure-as-a-Service<\/span>Experience in building services and applications at Cloud Scale<\/span>Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>At Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), we build the future of the cloud for Enterprises as a diverse team of fellow creators and inventors.
