Analytical Product Engineering\u2019s product space represents a high growth opportunity for FactSet.<\/span>What We’re Looking For<\/b><\/span>We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Engineer with over 8 years of expertise in .NET technologies, C#, Office Interop, MVC, and WebAPI to join our dynamic team. This role requires strong technical proficiency, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications.<\/span>What You’ll Do<\/b><\/span>Technical Development:<\/span>Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable applications using .NET, C#, Office interop, MVC, and WebAPI.<\/span>Leverage Office Interop for integrating Microsoft Office functionalities into applications.<\/span>Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.<\/span>Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support business applications.<\/span>Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.<\/span>Team Leadership:<\/span>Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.<\/span>Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to quality standards.<\/span>Guide team members in resolving complex technical challenges and adopting modern development practices.<\/span>Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.<\/span>Collaboration & Strategy:<\/span>Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.<\/span>Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to defining technical roadmaps.<\/span>Stay updated with the latest .NET ecosystem advancements and propose innovative solutions to improve processes and products.<\/span>Quality Assurance & Deployment:<\/span>Ensure high-quality deliverables through unit testing, integration testing, and CI\/CD pipeline implementation.<\/span>Oversee deployment processes and troubleshoot production issues as needed.<\/span>Maintain documentation for code, processes, and system architecture.<\/span>What We’re Looking For<\/b><\/span>Experience:<\/b><\/span>8+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on .NET technologies.<\/span>Extensive hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, and .NET Framework\/.NET Core.<\/span>Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Interop for application integration.<\/span>2+ years of experience leading or managing a development team.<\/span>Technical Skills:<\/b><\/span>Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, and .NET Core.<\/span>Experience with Office Interop for automating and integrating Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).<\/span>Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Entity Framework, or similar ORMs).<\/span>Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices is a plus.<\/span>Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI\/CD pipelines.<\/span>Leadership & Soft Skills:<\/span>Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.<\/span>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.<\/span>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.<\/span>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time in a fast-paced environment.<\/span>Preferred Qualifications:<\/b><\/span>Experience with Agile\/Scrum methodologies.<\/span>Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and Kubernetes.<\/span>Certifications in .NET or related technologies are a plus.<\/span>Education:<\/b><\/span>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).<\/span>What’s In It For You<\/b><\/span>At FactSet, our people are our greatest asset, and our culture is our biggest competitive advantage.
