Job Title: Staff Engineer \u2013 React<\/span>Location: Remote\/ Hybrid<\/span>Experience: 10+ years total, with 5+ years of recent hands-on React experience<\/span>Industry Preference: Candidates from product-based companies only<\/span>Job Description:<\/b><\/span>We are looking for a Staff Engineer \u2013 React who brings deep technical expertise in frontend technologies, especially React, and has a strong background in architecting scalable applications in a product-based environment. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technologist with proven experience in designing complex systems and guiding engineering teams technically.<\/span>Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>Lead the architecture and development of frontend components using React.<\/span>Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Backend, and DevOps to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.<\/span>Drive engineering best practices across the team in code quality, testing, and CI\/CD.<\/span>Influence technical direction and strategic decisions in product development.<\/span>Own and manage the full software development lifecycle, including system design, implementation, and deployment.<\/span>Must-Have Skills:<\/span>5+ years of hands-on experience in React (latest experience is mandatory)<\/span>3+ years experience in Node.js<\/span>3+ years experience in TypeScript<\/span>Strong understanding of GraphQL (minimum 1\u20132 years)<\/span>Experience in using AWS cloud services<\/span>Minimum 2 years of experience with CDN technologies (Cloudflare, Akamai, Fastly, etc.)<\/span>Strong understanding of system architecture and performance optimization<\/span>Excellent communication and collaboration skills<\/span>Experience in architecting complex systems and influencing technical direction<\/span>Good to Have:<\/b><\/span>Experience in the insurance or fintech domain<\/span>Hands-on experience with server-side rendering, Next.js, or micro-frontends<\/span>Experience with CI\/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)<\/span>About Forbes Advisor:<\/span>Forbes Advisor is a global platform dedicated to helping consumers make the best financial choices for their individual lives.
