{"id":98229,"date":"2025-07-25T00:02:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-25T00:02:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/industrial-trainee-payroll-and-compliance\/"},"modified":"2025-07-25T00:02:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-25T00:02:10","slug":"industrial-trainee-payroll-and-compliance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/industrial-trainee-payroll-and-compliance\/","title":{"rendered":"Industrial Trainee &#8211; Payroll and Compliance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Job Summary<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Job Description &#8211; Payroll and Compliance Trainee<br \/>\n       A Payroll CA Industrial Trainee &#8211; will be learning the payroll activities phase wise and while the role is responsible for supporting Payroll team members with assigned payroll tasks, validating payroll inputs and processed output before releasing the payment, support employee tax queries and other queries and support to maintaining accurate payroll records.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Here&#8217;s a more detailed breakdown of the role:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Key Learnings and Responsibilities: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic activities of Payroll:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>This Role will start understanding the Payroll Activities from the Basics to Statutory compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Support on Payroll Activities for APAC and EMEA<\/li>\n<li>Audit support for payroll areas for APAC and EMEA region<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Payroll Processing supports <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Helping with payroll tasks as required by Payroll specialist and Payroll Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Help to provide the basic level validation for payroll related activities (like CTC structure validation, payroll calculation validation)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Record Keeping and Audit Requirements: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Retrieve and manage payroll information as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records which will be aligned with the Audit requirements<\/li>\n<li>Need to help the team in collating the Audit requirement.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare consolidated payroll reports for year-end activities which will also help to provide supporting&#8217;s to Audit requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Ensure data integrity: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collect New hires data, payroll required forms, and other relevant information from New Hires.<\/li>\n<li>Verify all information for new hires are correctly completed in these form and other payroll-related data.<\/li>\n<li>Validate the Offer letters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Other Duties: * Prepare payroll reports and statements. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with payroll inquiries from employees.<\/li>\n<li>May assist with other administrative tasks as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Support on Statutory Compliance based on country specific.<\/li>\n<li>Support GL team on payroll Recons and Fluxes<\/li>\n<li>Will be supporting the Payroll team in the new development projects to improve the Team Process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Required Skills:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Skills:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook).<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in the accounting field.<\/li>\n<li>Prior internship or work experience in Payroll accounting or finance is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in data entry and computer systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Benefits:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned professionals.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to diverse accounting tasks and projects.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in accounting and finance.<\/li>\n<li>Competitive compensation package.<\/li>\n<li>Learn APAC &#038; EMEA Countries Payroll.<\/li>\n<li>Friendly and supportive work environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Joining our Finance department as Payroll Trainee will provide you with a solid foundation for a successful career in Payroll Accounting.
