Title: Software Engineer II<\/span>Job Location: Chennai<\/span>Our Department: N.A. Mobility(Transportation)<\/span>What You Will Do<\/b><\/span>Are you a motivated engineer with demonstrated experience in full-stack applications? If so, our N.A. Mobility is looking for people like you to join our established and dynamic group. You will join the Trimble NA Mobility team to work on product developments and cutting-edge projects.<\/span>Working with our N.A Mobility team and interacting with other teams in the Engineering department.<\/span>Development, testing, and deployment of NA Mobility tasks and reporting status to N.A Mobility and engineering management.<\/span>What Skills & Experience You Should Bring<\/span>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering.<\/span>Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in back-end and front-end application development.<\/span>Proficient Experience in Java programming(Mandatory).<\/span>Experience with Web services and Spring boot programming frameworks(Mandatory).<\/span>Experience with ReactJS frameworks(Mandatory).<\/span>Proven track record of delivering successful back-end applications with comprehensive knowledge of the web services ecosystem, tools, and frameworks.<\/span>Proficient in RESTful API development, JSON parsing, and third-party library integration.<\/span>Strong proficiency in messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and SQS(Preferred).<\/span>Extensive experience with Android Studio, IntelliJ, Gradle, and other development tools.<\/span>Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and best practices for web application development.<\/span>Good knowledge of Javascript and Python programming.<\/span>Experience with Azure Cloud features and Azure Functions(Preferred).<\/span>Experience with Database query languages SQL and NoSQL like MySql, Postgres, and ElasticSearch.<\/span>Experience with Local Caching and Centralized Caching concepts.<\/span>Good knowledge of Docker and Containerization concepts.<\/span>Good knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment concepts.<\/span>Experience with Unit Testing Development using JUnit, Mockito, Spock, and Groovy.<\/span>About Our N.A Mobility Division<\/span>N.A. Mobility provides telematics applications for Trucks and Fleets. It provides Driver Safety, Trip Scheduling, Shipment Tracking, Device Management, Fleet Management, Goods Operation and so on. Real-time alarms, alerts, and reports enable significant reductions in accident costs and increase driver and fleet safety, increasing goods delivery for revenue generation.<\/p>\n
