This includes diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pumps, generators, compressors, drilling equipment, and rotating machinery. The role requires a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, preventive maintenance techniques, and safety regulations to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Key Responsibilities:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>1. Equipment Maintenance &#038; Repair <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on all mechanical equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, mud pumps, draw works, winches, compressors, and rotating equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee maintenance and repair work to ensure compliance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards and industry regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the availability of spare parts, tools, and consumables required for efficient operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> 2. Troubleshooting &#038; Fault Diagnosis <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diagnose mechanical faults, hydraulic failures, and system breakdowns.<\/li>\n<li>Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring mechanical issues and recommend solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals for troubleshooting.<\/li>\n<li>Use diagnostic tools and vibration analysis equipment to identify equipment issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> 3. Compliance &#038; Safety <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow and enforce HSE (Health, Safety &#038; Environment) regulations and best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure LOTO (Lockout\/Tagout) procedures are strictly followed during maintenance activities.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in safety drills, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and compliance documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> 4. Supervision &#038; Training <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and mentor junior mechanics and technicians in maintenance best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Train rig personnel on basic mechanical troubleshooting and equipment handling.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure team members adhere to industry standards and safety protocols.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> 5.
