We relentlessly innovate to make the prediction, prevention, and treatment of illness and disease more accessible to millions of people.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Position Overview<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Associate Advisor.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Cigna, a leading Health Services company, is looking for an exceptional Full Stack Software Engineer in our Core Systems Organization. In this role you will be designing, coding, testing and deploying Mainframe deliverables.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>In this role you will have the unique opportunity to design, develop, and deploy applications and features that will directly impact Cigna&#8217;s bottom line, ultimately providing better and more affordable healthcare for our customers. Our team uses a variety of technologies including the latest web frameworks and mainframe. You will have the opportunity to build state-of-the-art technology that is scalable and robust, utilizing cloud infrastructure, and full automation. We hope to talk with you soon!<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Support scrum team by designing, coding, testing and implementing solutions that support business needs<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Integrate both custom developed and package based solutions on prem\/cloud environment<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Support production implementation activities including advanced troubleshooting and application debugging<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Qualifications:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Required Skills:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with peers within and outside of the immediate scrum team<\/li>\n<li>Ability to collaborate with stakeholders: Business projects owners and managers, Quality Engineering leads, service operations<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with agile methodology and working within a scrum team environment<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with modern delivery practices such as continuous integration, behavior\/test driven development, and specification by example.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Required Experience &#038; Education: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience on an Agile team using Scrum or Kanban<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Experience in the following: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8-11 years experience in Core Skills: Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, IMS, DB2<\/li>\n<li>Preferred to have 2+ years&#8217; experience in Secondary Skills:<\/li>\n<li>Web and client server technologies including Angular, other Node.js systems, Java, JavaScript, Python and Object Oriented languages, RESTful\/API services, micro-services<\/li>\n<li>Test Driven Design (TDD) and unit testing as part of software development using packages NUnit, JUnit, PyUnit, Ansible, etc.<\/li>\n<li>CI\/CD environment (Jenkins\/Ansible experience a plus)<\/li>\n<li>TFS \/ Git version control software<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Desired Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excited to work on a team that produces innovative, high-performing, scalable user-facing solutions relied on by millions every day.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to start with strategy and then create, test and deploy our client and claim processing solutions<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate ability to partner with teams across the organization to craft exceptional applications with the ultimate goal of improving health outcomes for the 100 million people we serve.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><center><b><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.co.in\/jobad\/inaadc39da108022e7dab9c8527ad74cc3?affid=0852fd5db5a52cbcd75bf945aa534932\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a> <\/b><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About Evernorth Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group (NYSE: CI), creates pharmacy, care, and benefits solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
