The team brings rich industry knowledge to Marketplace\u2019s global coverage of consumer credit, debt, health, home improvement, banking, investing, credit cards, small business, education, insurance, loans, real estate and travel.<\/span>Job Description<\/b><\/span>Job Overview:<\/b><\/span>We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack JS Engineer (Tech Lead \/ Architect) to join our dynamic team. This role demands extensive experience in both frontend and backend development, along with a strong grasp of cloud technologies and database management. You will work closely with the Engineering team, Product team, and other stakeholders to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. As a technical leader, you will ensure adherence to best practices, provide mentorship, and drive cross-functional collaboration.<\/span>Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>Collaborate with the Engineering Group and Product team to understand requirements and design comprehensive solutions.<\/span>Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.<\/span>Implement security and data protection measures.<\/span>Build high-quality, reusable code for both frontend and backend applications.<\/span>Document and communicate application design, topologies, and architecture clearly to peers and the business.<\/span>Work closely with User Experience, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to create outstanding web experiences.<\/span>Partner with Engineering and other teams to develop new frameworks, feature sets, and functionalities.<\/span>Lead and coach team members, promoting thought leadership and project excellence.<\/span>Provide technical leadership, ensuring adherence to best software engineering practices, such as TDD, continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.<\/span>Must have experience requirements:<\/span>Education and experience:<\/b><\/span>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.<\/span>Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in full-stack development.<\/span>Technical Requirements:<\/b><\/span>Proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6 and beyond, asynchronous programming, closures, and prototypal inheritance.<\/span>Expertise in modern front-end frameworks\/libraries (React, Vue.js).<\/span>Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processing platforms like SASS or LESS.<\/span>Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.<\/span>Knowledge of front-end build tools like Webpack, Babel, and npm\/yarn.<\/span>Proficiency in Node.js and frameworks like Express.js, Koa, or NestJS.<\/span>Experience with RESTful API design and development.<\/span>Experience with Serverless.(Lambda, CloudFunctions)<\/span>Experience with GraphQL.<\/span>Experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).<\/span>Experience with caching & search frameworks.
