With an annual revenue exceeding $2B, it is one of the fastest growing businesses at Cisco. As Cisco is transforming its business model aggressively to a software and recurring revenue model, security business is leading this journey with 40%+ YoY growth in software recurring revenue.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>The Cloud Security group within SBG focuses on developing cloud delivered security solutions (SaaS based) in a platform centric approach. This group is an autonomous group within the business group and operates like a Startup to support innovation in a highly disruptive and high growth domain. This group was formed a year back by combining some of existing cloud assets Cisco had with two hugely successful acquisitions &#8211; OpenDNS and CloudLock. Our vision is to build the most complex security solutions in a cloud delivered way with utmost simplicity &#8211; disrupt industry&#8217;s thinking around how deep and how broad a security solution can be while keeping it easy to deploy and simple to lead.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Your Impact<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will lead the engineering team to build new cloud-delivered security services that help protect an organization&#8217;s web traffic.<\/li>\n<li>You will be responsible for architecting and designing solutions for complex features in the product.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the team during complex production issues and help deliver quick resolution.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with cross-functional core stakeholders within both engineering, product management and field teams to lead the technology direction and facilitate key technical decision points.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with multiple engineering groups within Cisco to deliver E2E solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with other Product leads to drive product and technology strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Create a culture of execution excellence coupled with innovation.<\/li>\n<li>Building a team of talented and passionate leaders as we scale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Minimum Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>12+ years of software development experience with a strong track record in technology strategy and product delivery leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical expertise in C programming; good to have experience with Golang and Python.<\/li>\n<li>Strong grasp of networking fundamentals (L3\/L4, TCP\/IP, HTTP\/HTTPS, Proxy, TLS).<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.<\/li>\n<li>Valued domain knowledge in Security (encryption, firewalls, secure systems design, vulnerability management, secure software design, credential management,1 etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Preferred Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on working experience with data path technologies like VPP\/DPDK.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of Cloud technologies: Architecture, Design patterns,<\/li>\n<li>Experience in building cloud delivered SaaS based security solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of emerging cyber threats and threat intelligence techniques to detect and remediate threats.<\/li>\n<li>Master&#8217;s degree on Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> #WeAreCisco<span class=\"br\"><\/span>#WeAreCisco where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Our passion is connection-we celebrate our employees&#8217; diverse set of backgrounds and focus on unlocking potential. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate&#8217;s hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range based on their U.S. or Canada hiring location. The recruiter can share more details about compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>U.S. employees have to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday (for non-exempt employees), plus a day off for their birthday. Non-Exempt new hires accrue up to 16 days of vacation time off each year, at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period. Exempt new hires participate in Cisco&#8217;s flexible Vacation Time Off policy, which does not place a defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use, but is subject to availability and some business limitations. All new hires are eligible for Sick Time Off subject to Cisco&#8217;s Sick Time Off Policy and will have eighty (80) hours of sick time off provided on their hire date and on January 1st of each year thereafter. Up to 80 hours of unused sick time will be carried forward from one calendar year to the next such that the maximum number of sick time hours an employee may have available is 160 hours. Employees in Illinois have a unique time off program designed specifically with local requirements in mind. All employees also have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;<span class=\"br\"><\/span>1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;<span class=\"br\"><\/span>1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target.
