Join us today and experience Life at Visa.<\/span>Job Description<\/b><\/span>As the Sr Manager of PRE, you will oversee multiple high performing analysts. These analysts provide support for the VROL application, this role involves working closely with Individual Contributors, Leadership and Product partners geographically dispersed throughout North America and Asia Pacific.<\/span>Responsibilities may include<\/b><\/span>Provide leadership and oversight to a team of analysts to ensure Visa meets the highest application availability.<\/span>Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand business problems and then design and develop required solutions.<\/span>Provide technical thought leadership towards solving problems for the team.<\/span>Drive the adoption of key engineering best practices to improve quality and reliability of team’s deliverables.<\/span>Responsible for keeping the team engaged, motivated and operating with a high execution velocity.<\/span>Responsible for coaching and mentoring of direct reports.<\/span>Develop and nurture team of developers by motivating, mentoring, and assist in hiring critical talent.<\/span>Automation scripting experience with Unix Shell (bash, ksh), Python, Perl, Java, Go or Node.js.<\/span>Engagement with PD, Product and QA teams, developers, architects, and other stakeholders.<\/span>Championing & driving application, infrastructure security efforts.<\/span>Understand and own component security analysis, including code and data flow review. Collaborate with security team to implement and verify secure coding techniques.<\/span>This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.<\/span>Qualifications<\/b><\/span>Basic Qualifications:<\/b>
\n 6 – 8 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 6 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters\/MBA\/JD\/MD) or at least 2 years of work experience with a PhD<\/span>Preferred Qualifications:<\/b>
\n 6 – 8 years of work experience and a bachelor’s degree or 6-8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 4+ years of experience with a PhD.
\n At least 10 years of Production Application support working experience.
\n 5 years of experience with Java, J2EE1.4, HTML, XML, XSL, JavaScript, Servlet 2.4, JSP 2.0, Struts 1.2, Spring 3.0, DB2 database, and Hibernate 3.0
\n Experience with infrastructure automation technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible & Terraform is a plus
\n Experience in Splunk, Sysdig, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Grafana etc. is a big plus.
\n 8+ years of experience with WebSphere, TC Server, Apache Web Servers, MVC framework, IIS, and IBM-HIS web server.
\n Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., DB2, SQL Server, MySQL).
\n A working understanding of programming\/scripting languages including Bash, Perl, and Ruby\/Python
\n Proficiency in ETL tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica, CloverETL Tool, Apache Nifi).
\n Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala is a plus.
\n Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
\n Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
\n Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data integration services.
\n Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, like Keras or PyTorch
\n Understanding of Linux, networking, CPU, memory, and storage.
\n Knowledge of production support processes, including incident\/change\/problem management.
\n Strong communication and collaboration skills.
