Description<\/b><\/span>We have an immediate need for a Sr. Software Engineer with strong systems, software, cloud, database, and Agile experience to support a complex program to provide Agile development and operations and maintenance for critical systems. Based in DevOps framework, participate in and\/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.<\/span>Primary Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>Participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement, using Java, JavaScript, Python, SpringBoot, Hibernate.<\/span>Provide expertise integrating with, configuring, performance tuning, administering and troubleshooting DynamoDB.<\/span>Developing and directing software system validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon<\/span>Develop and integrate custom developed software solutions to leverage automated deployment technologies<\/span>Develop, prototype and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Solutions leveraging Infrastructure platform services<\/span>Coordinate closely with team members, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation to customer use cases<\/span>Analyze (though proof of concept, performance, and end-to-end testing) and effectively coordinate Infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet customer mission needs<\/span>Support the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices<\/span>Use industry leading DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Unix bash scripting<\/span>Document and Perform systems software development, including deployment of build artifacts across different environments leverage GitFlow constructs<\/span>Communicate key project data to team members and build team cohesion and effectiveness.<\/span>Leverage Atlassian tool suite like JIRA and Confluence to track activities<\/span>Apply and identify best practices and standard operating procedures<\/span>Create innovative solutions to meet the technical needs of customers.<\/span>Basic Qualifications:<\/b><\/span>Direct experience integrating with, configuring, performance tuning, administering and troubleshooting DynamoDB.<\/span>Significant experience with common Agile practices, service-orientated environments, and development practices<\/span>Significant experience using Java, JavaScript and Angular<\/span>Significant experience in the software development lifecycle, with experience delivering within DevOps toolsets\/practices<\/span>Direct experience utilizing software testing performance tools, such as Junit<\/span>Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, Bash<\/span>Experience working in an Agile development environment and tempo<\/span>Experience with development in Commercial Cloud Platforms (ex, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)<\/span>Experience with development leveraging cloud data services (ex: S3, RDS, EFS)<\/span>Well versed with using version control systems<\/span>Well versed with using issue\/problem tracking systems<\/span>**Candidate must have a Bachelor\u2019s degree with 8 or more years of prior relevant experience or a Master\u2019s degree with 6 or more years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.<\/span>**Candidate must have a current TS\/SCI with Polygraph<\/span>Preferred Qualifications:<\/b><\/span>Experience in AWS Data management services (Elastic Map Reduce, Lambda, Kinesis)<\/span>Experience with SAFe development practices<\/span>CABARESTON<\/span>Original Posting Date: 2024-12-04<\/span>While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.<\/span>Pay Range: Pay Range $101,400.00 – $183,300.00<\/span>The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
