Responsibilities:<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Technical Leadership<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team<\/li>\n<li>Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality standards and best practices<\/li>\n<li>Oversee software architecture and design decisions<\/li>\n<li>Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Team Management <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and motivate a team of software engineers1<\/li>\n<li>Assign tasks based on team members&#8217; skills and project requirements<\/li>\n<li>Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback<\/li>\n<li>Coach the team in self-management and cross-functionality<\/li>\n<li>Remove impediments to the team&#8217;s progress<\/li>\n<li>Promote and support the adoption of Agile and SAFe practices within the organization<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the team delivers high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate stakeholder collaboration as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Project Management <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery<\/li>\n<li>Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and requirements<\/li>\n<li>Identify and mitigate project risks proactively<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Scrum Master Duties <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate Scrum events and ensure they are productive and time-boxed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> 3. Qualifications: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role<\/li>\n<li>Strong programming skills in relevant languages and technologies<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and SAFe framework<\/li>\n<li>Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) preferred<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What will your job look like?<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Technical Skills:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and Java; ability to lead projects and mentor team members in these languages<\/li>\n<li>Backend Development: Strong experience with Python for building scalable and efficient server-side applications<\/li>\n<li>GeoSpatial Data: Knowledge of geospatial data processing and visualization, including experience with MapBox<\/li>\n<li>Big Data: Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks for handling large-scale data processing<\/li>\n<li>Database Management: Expertise in both relational and NoSQL databases, with the ability to design and optimize data storage solutions<\/li>\n<li>Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for deploying and managing applications<\/li>\n<li>Version Control: Proficiency with Git and experience managing complex branching strategies<\/li>\n<li>CI\/CD: Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools and practices<\/li>\n<li>API Development: Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs<\/li>\n<li>Agile Tools: Proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps)<\/li>\n<li>Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with testing methodologies and frameworks for ensuring code quality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>You will provide technical leadership to software engineers by coaching and mentoring throughout end-to-end software development, maintenance, and lifecycle to achieve project goals to the required level of quality; promote team engagement and motivation.<\/li>\n<li>Provide recommendations to the software engineering manager for estimates, resource needs, breakthroughs and risks; ensure effective delegation, supervising tasks, identifying risks and handling mitigation and critical issues.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on technical and functional mentorship to design, maintenance, build, integration and testing of sophisticated software components according to functional and technical design specifications; Follow software development methodologies and release processes<\/li>\n<li>You will analyze and report the requirements and provide impact assessment for new features or bug fixes.
