The Accounting is responsible for supporting the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have prior accounting experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. We offer an excellent compensation and benefits package and career advancement opportunities.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>This position is an 18 month Maternity Coverage.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Summary of Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.<\/li>\n<li>Process wire transfers, EFTs, and ACH payments in coordination with banks and internal teams.<\/li>\n<li>Support bank account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in maintaining cash flow forecasts and treasury reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Track and record foreign exchange transactions, interest payments, and debt servicing if applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly bank reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Support month-end close processes and treasury-related accruals.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain documentation for audits and financial reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with banks, auditors, and internal departments as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Minimum Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Preferred Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Treasury or cash management experience is a strong asset.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in MS Excel and ERP\/accounting systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
