Louder is a digital marketing consultancy and platform provider for many well-known Australian brands and corporations. We specialise in a variety of marketing technologies and management consulting services to let clients revolutionise their approach to digital marketing.<\/span>Louder requires an experienced and proven Software Engineer to support Louder and its clients in building out innovative solutions for data analysis and insight.<\/span>The right candidate will be an experienced engineer who has a proven track record in building scalable software solutions within the Google Cloud Platform, including data pipelines, anomaly detection, and reporting and analytics applications.<\/span>They will be proficient in python, git and development best practices and will have extensive experience managing solutions within the Google Cloud platform.<\/span>Job responsibilities<\/b><\/span>Create scalable software to meet client and internal requirements in the digital marketing and analytics space including:<\/span>Requirements gathering, solution design
\n Implementation
\n Solution productionisation
\n Developing and managing data pipelines for Louder and its customers.<\/span>Automatically extracting data from source systems (including Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, Facebook etc) through API
\n Cleaning and transforming data to meet business requirements
\n Automation, monitoring and alerting on pipeline operation using Louder’s preferred tools which include Airflow, Python, dbt, BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform
\n Business analysis<\/span>Understanding and documenting client requirements and solution design
\n Communicating clearly with non-technical stakeholders both internally and with clients
\n Client communication<\/span>Transparent communications on project progress effort estimates and anticipated delivery dates.
Mandatory skills<\/b><\/span>CS or similar Degree or equivalent experience
\n Software development using Python
\n One plus years experience in creating and maintaining data pipelines
\n SQL particularly BigQuery
\n Google Cloud Platform, including: Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, PubSub, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, DataPrep, Workflows, GSUtil, Logging and alerting
\n Git, CI pipelines, Linux command line tools
\n Ability to time manage and work across multiple projects delivering to deadlines and of a high design standard.
\n Team player with good communication skills.
\n You have high standards in everything that you do with great attention to detail.
\n A highly motivated, productive and collaborative approach to your work.
\n An interest in emerging technologies, digital design trends, best practice and a desire to give anything a go
\n Proven presentation and communication skills with the ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and effectively communicate them to a non-technical audience.

\n DBT (data build tool)
\n Apache Airflow
\n Ruby (+Jekyll), Golang, Rust
\n Html, css, front end development
\n Experience in data visualisation tools such as Power BI. Data Studio
