This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of computational software, hardware verification and artificial intelligence, helping to shape the future of Cadence&#8217;s innovative solutions.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and development of AI systems and AI features within Cadence\u2019s suite of verification tools.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and evaluate opportunities to apply AI to solve very hard real-world engineering problems.<\/li>\n<li>Effectively communicate and educate other engineers in the theory and best practices of the application of AI.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and select AI algorithms and tools appropriate for specific problems.<\/li>\n<li>Perform statistical analysis and tuning to ensure implemented algorithms are producing accurate results.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting and documenting on AI processes and results.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality, reliable software<\/li>\n<li>Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Job Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field plus 4+ years of C\/C++, Java or Python software development experience,<\/li>\n<li>Or M.Sc plus 2+ years of experience in implementing ML models and applications,<\/li>\n<li>Or PhD in a relevant area.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of various Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms and techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience in building AI based applications<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of Software Development best practices and in OO Design principles and patterns.<\/li>\n<li>Very strong competency in mathematics, statistics, data structures and algorithms.<\/li>\n<li>A penchant for finding outstanding solutions to very difficult problems.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills and collaboration capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a diverse\/multi-cultural environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Additional Skills\/Preferences:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Large Language Models<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques<\/li>\n<li>Experience or understanding of electronic design.<\/li>\n<li>Experience developing in a Linux environment.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with version control tools such as Git.<\/li>\n<li>Experience dealing with customers &#038; external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Strong presentation skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Work Arrangements <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hybrid working model with 4 in-office days expected<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities for collaboration with global teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Why Join Cadence? <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with cutting-edge AI technology that impacts the development of next-generation products<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with industry experts and thought leaders in computational software<\/li>\n<li>Professional development opportunities and clear career progression paths<\/li>\n<li>Inclusive workplace culture that values diversity of thought and innovation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Additional Information:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Cadence is committed to equal employment opportunity and employment equity throughout all levels of the organization.
