This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional who is ready to take the next step in their career, contribute to meaningful financial operations, and grow within a collaborative environment.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint, a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, and strong technical skills\u2014especially in Excel.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>This position requires an in-office presence in our headquarters office located in Ashburn, VA. There is potential for this position to adjust to a hybrid arrangement at a future date, with working remote two days a week.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Key Responsibilities (including but are not limited to): <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Post recurring and adjusting journal entries in a timely and accurate manner.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with bank reconciliations and post cash receipts.<\/li>\n<li>Support the preparation process for annual financial audits.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Support the tracking and accounting of fixed assets.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in recording expenses and journal entries for subsidiaries.<\/li>\n<li>Work within Deltek Costpoint to execute accounting functions effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate financial records and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Qualifications: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting or finance.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Personal Qualities<\/b><br \/>\n       IBTS places a high value on certain personal traits that work toward creating a positive, professional, and supportive work environment, which is essential for working together and achieving success.
