Days on\/ off will vary based on site needs.<\/li>\n<li>Competitive hourly wage of $21.00\/ Hr (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)<\/li>\n<li>A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO) policy, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options (depending on how many hours worked and per contract)<\/li>\n<li>Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld<\/li>\n<li>Uniform provided at no cost<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Officer<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle patrols around the building a surrounding tenants<\/li>\n<li>Verify identities and control access to secure areas<\/li>\n<li>React quickly to threats or incidents<\/li>\n<li>Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras<\/li>\n<li>Document incidents and actions taken<\/li>\n<li>Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property<\/li>\n<li>Gather necessary information from callers during emergencies.<\/li>\n<li>Dispatch appropriate assistance and coordinate with emergency services.<\/li>\n<li>Provide clear instructions and guidance during emergencies over the telephone.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with security personnel or other stakeholders over the telephone.<\/li>\n<li>Operate security systems: monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.<\/li>\n<li>Understand security protocols and procedures for system operations.<\/li>\n<li>Respond to security alerts and alarms.<\/li>\n<li>Generate and analyze security reports.<\/li>\n<li>Manage relationships directly, Build rapport and trust with others.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct security-related interviews or investigations.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate responses to security incidents.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with other departments on security-related projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> *Qualifications of Surveillance Security Officer <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)<\/li>\n<li>You&#8217;re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process<\/li>\n<li>You have a valid driver&#8217;s license<\/li>\n<li>You have Corporate Security, Military, and\/or Law Enforcement supervisory experience of at least 2 years or more<\/li>\n<li>You have an active DCJS Security License<\/li>\n<li>You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements<\/li>\n<li>Must have experience utilizing Microsoft applications or Google applications, and Security Systems.
