Close coordination with business, IT and Operations team and manage operational challenges.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Key responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reliability and uptime:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure high availability and reliability of critical business systems by implementing best practices in monitoring, alerting and incident management.<\/li>\n<li>Automation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement automation tools to eliminate manual processes and improve system efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Incident Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Respond to system outages, troubleshoot issues and provide quick resolution to minimize the downtime and business impact.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and Observability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and manage observability solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana or Datadog to monitor system performance.<\/li>\n<li>Performance and Optimization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify and fix bottlenecks in applications and infrastructure to improve overall system performance.<\/li>\n<li>Capacity planning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyse system demands and ensure appropriate scaling to meet future requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Service Level Objectives:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Define, measure and monitor SLO and SLA&#8217;s to maintain system health and reliability.<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with development and operations teams to integrate reliability into software lifecycle CI\/CD pipelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Skills &#038; Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer science, engineering or related field.<\/li>\n<li>7+ years of experience in SRE, Devops or similar roles.<\/li>\n<li>Strong programming skills in Python, Golang, Java.<\/li>\n<li>Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Devops tools, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with incident management platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of networking, load balancers and DNS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Preferred.<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of database performance tuning SQL \/ NoSQL.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Soft skills.<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong problem solving and analytical skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.<\/p>\n<p><center><b><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.co.in\/jobad\/in168cbe0dc6ea340678330f10a004aab2?affid=0852fd5db5a52cbcd75bf945aa534932\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a> <\/b><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Category: Software Engineering Job Description: Description: As an SRE SME , the engineer should ensure the reliability, availability, performance and scalability of the business applications.
