This team is responsible for developing a scalable and secure platform for Gartner Peer Platform sites. The team works on advanced tools and techniques for high performance web development, data processing and system integration.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>What you will do:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with leads to explore existing systems, determine areas of opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Build and deliver Spring Boot applications integrating with various databases, AWS Services and REST APIs.<\/li>\n<li>Work with Open-source technologies and applications using Java technology in a fast paced Agile\/Scrum environment.<\/li>\n<li>Follow coding standards, build appropriate unit tests, integration tests and deployment scripts and review project artifacts created by peers.<\/li>\n<li>Translate designs and style guides provided by the Design team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What you will need:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Strong IT professional with 2-3 yrs of experience in software development using Java technology. The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills along with high ownership and accountability.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Must have:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ yrs of relevant experience in Core Java using J2EE, Spring Boot frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with relational databases &#038; non-relational databases like Postgres &#038; Elastic Search<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with consumption\/creation of Restful APIs.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of OOPS, Design principles and Distributed systems.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of security best practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Nice to have:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS or cloud platforms like AWS\/Azure.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with Jenkins and Git or similar automation\/repository management tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Who you are:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and prioritization skills.<\/li>\n<li>Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.<\/li>\n<li>Owns success \u2013 Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Strong desire to improve upon their skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Don\u2019t meet every single requirement?
