The Fabric Development team is a team dedicated to ensuring that the IBM Cloud is at the forefront of cloud technology, from bootstrapping data centres, to application architecture, to flexible infrastructure services. We are running IBM&#8217;s next generation cloud platform to deliver performance and predictability for our customers&#8217; most demanding workloads, at global scale and with leadership efficiency, resiliency and security. It is an exciting time, and as a team we are driven by this incredible opportunity to thrill our clients. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and developing innovative, company and industry impacting services using open source and commercial technologies at scale<\/li>\n<li>Designing and architecting enterprise solutions to complex problems<\/li>\n<li>Presenting technical solutions and designs to engineering team<\/li>\n<li>Following compliant procedures and secure engineering best practices<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration and review of technical designs with architecture and offering management<\/li>\n<li>Taking ownership and keen involvement in projects that vary in size and scope depending on requirements<\/li>\n<li>Writing and executing unit, functional, and integration test cases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Required education<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Required technical and professional expertise<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>6+ years of experience with Container Deployments (Kubernetes \/ Rancher \/ OpenShift) \u2043 In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and components \u2043 Experience with cluster setup and management \u2043 Deep understanding of Kubernetes networking, storage &#038; troubleshooting skills. \u2043 Familiarity with k8s deployment via Helm charts \u2043 Strong understanding of containerization concepts, proficiency with Docker\/ContainerD \u2022 6+ years of strong Programming \/ Automation experience using Python, Shell, Ansible and other similar Tools\/Languages \u2022 3+ years of working knowledge of building automation to deploy infrastructure and exposure with CI\/CD tools and continuous integration \u2022 Experience working with version control system &#8211; Github \u2022 Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills \u2022 Demonstrated skills with troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Preferred technical and professional experience<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Experience with setting up and running Linux(RHEL\/Ubuntu) Infrastructure \u2022 Strong Programming\/scripting experience using Golang Python Ansible for host and application automation \u2022 Experience developing test automation<span class=\"br\"><\/span>ABOUT BUSINESS UNIT<span class=\"br\"><\/span>IBM Systems helps IT leaders think differently about their infrastructure.
