This group is an autonomous group within the business group and operates like a Startup to further innovation in a highly radical and high-growth domain. This group was formed a year back by combining some of the existing cloud assets Cisco had with two hugely successful acquisitions &#8211; OpenDNS and CloudLock. Our vision is to build the most complex security solutions in a cloud-delivered way with utmost simplicity &#8211; disrupt industry&#8217;s thinking around how deep and how broad a security solution can be while keeping it easy to deploy and simple to manage. The notion of traditional perimeter-based security is being reinvented. Since users, apps, and infrastructure have all moved to cloud, security must too. Welcome to the team of geeks passionate about solving this very problem and making world a better place\u2026a secure place.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>We have a highly scalable cloud infrastructure spread across 40 data centers where we run our cloud security applications that operate at an extensive scale &#8211; 100B+ requests per day from 65M daily active users.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>What You&#8217;ll Do<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00b7 Develop solutions &#038; features to extend and improve the infrastructure of Cloud-Delivered Firewall \/ SSE.<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Develop and test new software features with C, GO, Java, and Python<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Write functional and design specifications<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Perform testing and automation of features and take them to the deployment stage.<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Debug and provide solutions for existing deployments.<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Participate in\/drive threat modeling, monitoring, and risk management of our infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Contribute towards achieving\/maintaining compliance such as SOC2, FedRAMP, etc.<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Experience in programming, and an understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Preferred:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00b7 Master&#8217;s degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience.<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 FedRAMP product certification knowledge is a must.<\/li>\n<li>Technical Manager Exp<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 12-15 years of Software development experience with C, GO, Java, and Python<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Experience with containerization and related technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS.<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Experience in with microservice-based architectures.<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Domain knowledge of Security (encryption, firewalls, secure systems design, vulnerability management, secure software design, credential management, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 Ability to work in an agile delivery model, with ownership and accountability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Technologies we use<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>You should have exposure to the following:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 C , GO, Java and Python<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Kubernetes, Docker<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 AWS, AZURE or GCP<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 CI\/CD, Jenkins<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Why Cisco<br \/>\n       #WeAreCisco, where each person is outstanding, but we bring our talents to work as a team and make a difference powering an inclusive future for all.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>We embrace digital and help our customers implement change in their digital businesses. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate&#8217;s hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. The recruiter can share more details about compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>U.S. employees have to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;<span class=\"br\"><\/span>1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;<span class=\"br\"><\/span>1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target.
