Join us.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Description<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>The Project Director serves as the senior AECOM representative for the project and is responsible to lead by example in personal conduct and professional oversight of all project aspects. Ensures client&#8217;s vision is achieved by managing and exceeding the client&#8217;s expectations.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Is responsible for the overall performance of the project (contractual, financial and technical) and assumes accountability for the performance of sub-contracted entities in the performance of the services required to deliver the contracted scope of services.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Optimizes resources required for project delivery and actively support staff professional development.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Duties:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plans, directs, and supervises all operations including in a large, complex desalination project with greater risk and complexity, and significant financial impact.<\/li>\n<li>Resolves complex issues.<\/li>\n<li>Manages project on a local and International basis achieving quality outcomes, financial performance and client satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Successfully develops strategy, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, and executes project.<\/li>\n<li>Acts as primary point of contact with client and has full responsibility for project delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Project team will include AECOM staff across the globe and representing multiple business lines, working in a remote location and including various subcontractors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Minimum Requirements :<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree qualified in a relevant discipline civil \/ mechanical \/ electrical \/ structural \/ construction project management \/ industrial engineering<\/li>\n<li>PMP, APM or an equivalent accreditation<\/li>\n<li>Membership of a chartered institution MICE\/ MCIOB\/ MRICS<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record of instituting project excellence models and best practices, including capacity building and talent development<\/li>\n<li>Seasonal experience and knowledge of local authority processes, procedures, codes and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain stakeholder relations with utility providers, private and public sector stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 20 years&#8217; senior management experience in building, construction or infrastructure environment, plus 5 years of experience in a senior technical position on a desalination project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Additional Information<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>#LI-SF1<span class=\"br\"><\/span>About AECOM<span class=\"br\"><\/span>AECOM is the world&#8217;s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle &#8211; from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
